New show coming to Cartoon Network next month. This show looks.....weird. But thankfully the good kind of weirdness I would expect from a Cartoon Network show Nowadays.

It looks a lot better than Problem Solverz at least......

Another clip.

Oh my, it DOES LOOK MUCH BETTER than Problem Solverz. That show is a PROBLEM that needz to be SOLVED!

I still hate that it's Flash animated. But the home video style is intriguing, and I love the mix in styles. They remind me of Yin Yang Yo.

I swear, Gumball sounds a lot like Chowder...

Even my girlfriend, who hates CN with a passion for cancelling Chowder, bitched about the trailer then immediately said "But it actually looks pretty good."

At most, it'll give me something on CN to look forward to besides Adventure Time. Although that means having to suffer through more of their excruciatingly annoying bumps...

Well this will make up for cancelling symbiotic titan.grin

I doubt this will make up for the cancellation of Sym-Bionic Titan. But its a good start. With this, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Young Justice, Gen. Rex CN is starting to get more and more tolerable to watch. Now just get rid Problem Solverz, Mad, and ease Ben 10 to a finale and were good.

This looks like it'll be good. It gives off a bit of a Foster's vibe. Gumball does remind me of Chowder, only skinnier and probably way more intelligent.

It looks so... so familiar. Did this show up in some variety show once upon a time? Or maybe just previewed somewhere. I don't know it's like this horrible deja vu.

I still hate that it's Flash animated.

I'm really sick of the setiment that a show even looking like it's in flash counts as a strike against it.

I really love the look of this show. Registered here to start up a trope page for the it, despite being inept when it comes to these things. Still, I think it looks fantastic.

Hmm, looks good. I will probably watch at least the first few episodes. The animated characters against, (what would you call it? Photographic?) backgrounds looks interesting. It reminds me of the backgrounds in Fish Hooks.

[up][up]Yo, The Huntsman! If you need any help with that page, I'll see what I can do.

I think this might be the most genuinely adorable looking cartoon since My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. And the mixed media style is just mesmerizing. It makes even Chowder and Flapjack look like a Seth Mac Farlane show in terms of artistic variety.

Any help would be welcome. I don't know many tropes and only added a few to get the page started. I figure once the series premieres, somebody will come along and it will get filled out properly. I think this show has the potential to be something special for the network.

I love the art styles. You think they would clash, but it's totally cohesive and well integrated into the live action backgrounds. The lighting is stunning.

[up][up]Added some examples. To be honest, you did a great job starting the page. It's hardly what I'd call "inept".

It'll probably need a Character Sheet eventually, but I think I'll wait until a few episodes have aired before trying to put that up.

you know cartoon network has good faith in this show if they already gave it a second season. before the show even aired.

A show getting a second season is pretty much a shoe-in if it gets even initial amount of praise from test audiences, and/or if the networks sees PRO-FIT! in it.

Who are the creative minds behind this show, anyway? It definitely fits in with the more traditional Cartoon Network shows. Just curious as to if they've worked on other shows.

Sorry for the double post, but I recently did an interview of sorts with the creator of the series, Ben Bocquelet. Thought people might be interested. http://news.toonzone.net/x/DAEH/

Also, a new clip.
