Apparently, he tried opening the files, but they somehow got corrupted.

EDIT: And, because of that, he got rid of the files. However, I have the "RP Mischief FIRE" one, so if you want it and know a good place to put it up for download, ask me. It isn't much, but still...

EDIT 2: Also, check out the Works page for it: It now has a list describing the videos for future reference! (And yes, I actually did go to the trouble of doing that.)

Well, shit.

If the videos don't exist any more, is there a particular reason for still having the trope page?

@Ivy: Well, because it's better to have evidence of it than pretending it never existed?

Also, if you guys want, you can Start Your Own.

Dammit. Well, the Chaz Dragoon one's still up on my account, linked on page seven or something.

Does anyone feel like doing something similar? I've never made a video and kinda want to, though I never watch this series before.

Well, if anyone wants to do something similar, here's how we did it previously.

the method

  • Everyone connects to a voip program (like skype. Ventrilo is no good for this kind of thing)
  • The link for the video is distributed, and everyone allows the video to load in advance.
  • The person leading the group makes sure everyone is synced up by counting to three and saying "sync", if everyone else says it at the same time (or relatively close together) then you're good to go.
  • Playback is started at the same time.
  • Witty banter ensues
  • One person collects everyone's voice recordings (which should be started before the video and stopped after it ends. Everyone records individually, so make sure everyone's got some recording software) and downloads the video (I used keepvid).
  • Sync the audio with the video in your movie maker of choice, preferably something better than Windows Movie Maker.
