So many spoilers it reads like a CIA report: Heavy Rain

The Heavy Rain page is very Natter-riffic and there's paragraphs of spoilers when it's probably only necessary to blank out names and certain specific phrases. Requesting a cleanup so it can be informative for someone who's never played the game before.

Wow, the Foreshadowing entry... I don't think I've ever seen so many spoilers before.

It's just as messy as the plot is!

Okay, seriously, I support cleaning the page up just on principle.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

set your spoilers to always display and the problem is solved.

That's not the problem. The problem is that the Foreshadowing entry is huge. I've never played the game, but it'd be nice if someone who had could go in and kill all the natter on the page.

If there actually is that much foreshadowing, a Foreshadowing namespace for the page might work.

Fight smart, not fair.

BTW, how much is actual forshadowing and how much is just shoehorned in Fridge Brilliance entries.

Why not just despoiler the whole thing? There are already enough warnings at the top, and it's a very spoiler-heavy game.

Because if people prefer readability over 'spoiler safety' would have the spoilers to be visible, anyway. If people are reading this the tags are showing, then I think it is safe to assume they don't want to be spoiled.

What we need is someone who actually knows the game to work on it (killing natter and only tagging relevant words).

Well, I cleaned till Bound and Gagged, will do more later, but I want to see how people are liking it so far to not go into edit wars and stuff.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Personally, I think it needs more extreme paring, de-spoilerizing everything except names and personal pronouns and MAYBE character deaths and other similar major events.

For example: "[spoiler] falls in a vat and downs ironically" works because it out of context you have no idea who that could be unless you've played the series.

Okay, I cleaned up as much natter and pointless spoilers as I could, cleane dup the character sheets and the YMMV page, and got a new picture. Anyone still heave a problem with the page?

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
