Ohana reminds me of me. I mean the part where she takes initiative in useless ways and relies only on herself despite not being particularly competent. Although I think she's more competent than I would be.
Good to see that the quality didn't drop from the first episode, and there was some pretty good dialog in this one too.

I like Ohana quite a lot, yeah. Minko continues to prove herself in need of a solid shot of common sense, as do mostall of the other people at the ryokan, but...

I'm with Clarste on this one, there will probably be a dozen, less creepy opportunities for you yuri goggled people, to... be creepy.
I think it's creepier than normal to see this kind of stuff(both in-show and with the yuri goggles) becuase Ohana is such a cute, very likeable and relatable character.
Also, Ohana must be the best combination of Cuteness, Moe, Hotness, and awesome personality ever. I always say that I love X character, mainly becuase of their actions, but that love is just me liking a character a lot, but she kind of get some romantic feelings out of me(yeah, I know, that is even creepier).

I like that her cuteness stems from her being defiant, particularly with her way of getting back at people by cooking their most hated foods, as opposed to her just being The Pollyanna.

Actually, while she doesn't fit the flanderized trope itself, the show itself kinda reminds me of the original Pollyanna.
Yeah, that too. When you are perving over otaku-ish harem comedy characters, it's clear that the are basically animated hug pillows, but when she acts like a real person, it appears more similar to perving over a real person.

About Ohana going to school: Since the manga adaptation has been out for a few months, the Wikipedia character list already has some characters from Ohana's new school. They'll probably show up one to two episodes from now.

On the subject of Ohana being relatable: yeah, this would be the best part of the show. Even if you aren't Ohana, then you know people who act like her (I do) and have seen her thought processes before (I have). She's more human that most anime characters I've seen for some time.

I'm sad to admit that this is my favorite of the season, I wanted that to bo Nichijou, becuase it has everything I want on a show, like if it was made just to please me, but this is truly amazing.
