At best, maybe this could be something to mention on The Joy of X, but this is a pretty broad title convention to trope—even limiting it to a single genre doesn't really help much.
Also, when I first read the title, I thought this was about a certain Stock Shout Out to Apocalypse Now.

Title tropes tend to be loosely defined grab-bags, but The Horror seems to have less reason than most. The first sentence says that it's a trope about horror film titles of the form "The [Noun]," but a few confusing Alice and Bob paragraphs later, it says it could also be "sometimes adjectives, or a verb ending in -ing" instead of a noun. And some of the examples listed aren't actually horror films.
