I desperately hope that one of the new Super Man movies will feature Bizarro as the main villain and he will be Played for Drama Dark Knight-style.
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...Oh god is that a relief. Seriously, if theres one character who needs epic music, its Superman. Bates couldn't give him that.
If he was done right, Bizarro could easily be one of the most beloved characters of film history. Just sayin

Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.LATEST RUMOUR!! Could our villains be General Lane and Metallo? Read more here
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Hopefully not. If your going to have a human enemy of Superman, its gotta be Luther.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comClearly You've never experienced General Lane.
Gotta agree with Takashi. Man makes General Ross look like a kitten.
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.I've got to agree on going lesser-known villains on this one. Batman Begins and Iron Man did this and they were some of the better films for the genre.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I would love to see Metallo in a movie. I don't know what it is about the guy, but of all Supey's enemies he's the only one I consistently enjoy reading/watching in everything I see him in.
Especially with his in-comic powers, which are just plain over-the-top.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain."I AM A MAN!"
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/If Bizarro is ever in a movie, his theme should be a warped/distorted mutation of John Williams' Superman theme.
Speaking of which, is the new movie using John Williams's theme, or composing a new score from scratch?
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoIt's up the air. I say, bin the old theme. This is not a serialized franchise, like Indiana Jones, where the theme is indispensable. Moreover, Superman Returns is so recent, we all should have had our John Williams fix by now.
My one regret is that the last production to make use of the old theme might be Smallville.

I'm a skeptical squirrelI beg to differ, to many people, myself included, the theme is an integral part of the character
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoI'd say, the leitmotif should stay, but the song itself can be redone.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comI dont know. The Nolan Batman films were able to get away without the danny elfman score
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.^^ That's fair. Singer's clever use of the leitmotif (boat scene) was the only part of Superman Returns that I liked.
I'm a skeptical squirrelI'm pro-changing the score. The score for Superman TAS was still very 'Superman', even if it had nothing to do with the movies.
^ Though now I can't TAS's theme seriously, thanks to Doug Walker's fake lyrics.
I'm a skeptical squirrelhe played around with the lyrics? When?
Yeah, I still think a new score is needed if were starting from scratch.
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.I'm hoping that they use elements from these three themes. It shouldn't be too hard, seeing that those themes have many things in common.

He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoSee, this is what I mean. You shouldn't abandon the Superman theme, because there is a Superman theme. But its not any one song. Its every song, each one build on all the prior.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comYou know what. I really hope they use the Alex Ross shield◊ or at least a variant of it. Good god that would be so awesome to see on the screen.

He's no longer listed. Probably just a rumor that got listed as fact. However, he has replaced Steve Jablonsky on Conan The Barbarian so he is doing a comic book film. It's not Superman though.
