No$GBA 2.6.a
^ Dear God, this thing needs a better readme. Is a "snapshot" equivalent to a saved game? If so, how do I make a snapshot that doesn't crash the program when I attempt to load it? If not, then what do I do when I want to stop playing for the night?
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulTry Desmume. It should work much better. (but it has a lot more slowdown.)
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!I just found out the hard way that The World Ends With You is not a game well suited to be played on an emulator.
Likes many underrated webcomicsThe only reason I could imagine using emulators other than to play Earthbound and games that never left Japan is to play games that I already own on HDTV's or on portables, but I don't care enough to buy any equipment like flash carts for it, nor to constantly have to work around barriers made by console makers. And I really don't like playing games on computers.

Welcome to th:|Well, I don't like the mouse and keyboard as an input device, yeah. I only have a desktop and it's just not really a comfortable place to sit for hours for me...that and I have to deal with my brother who is constantly on the computer playing Civilization V.

Welcome to th:|Like I said, you can get wireless controllers and connect them to your PC. Some emulators will support these (Dolphin is one). Move your PC to your TV and play from your sofa.
I will admit, this requires more time and money than some are willing to spend. But it is entirely possible to enjoy games on P Cs without the hassles of PC gaming. It just takes some initial setup and investment.
Input and screen size is not a problem with PC gaming. Cost is a big problem since you basically have to move your PC everytime for gaming on your TV or buy a dedicated one. It is indeed cheaper to buy a console.

Think Of The Ewoks.....Sadly Metroid Prime doesn't quite work on Dolphin. Almost runs normally, but just slightly too slow. Which makes it unplayable. :C Hopefully they'll release Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii U. Don't have the discs or Wii/Gamecube to play it now, and the Wii compilation game has long been out of sale.
Let's see, I've got...
- ZSNES
- VBA
- ePSX
- FCEU
- No$
- A CPS 3 emulator (had to get my Jojo fix)
- Project64
- PC Engine (the lousy 5 minute demo version)
- Kawaks
Tried my hand at a Virtual Boy one to play VB Wario Land, but the slowdown was unbearable. Really wish they'd give that game an updated rerelease.

- Project 64
- PCSX 2
- ePSXe
- PSXEVEN
- Nestopia
- Snes9x
- a gba emulator designed for supercard ds2
- snes emulator designed for supercard ds2
- gameboy color emulator not designed to be used on supercard ds2 but still works on it anyway.

So I've got No$GBA, VBA, Project 64 (which has caused a literal BSOD a couple times) and Gameboid for my phone (best app ever). I gave up on a PSP emulator long ago. I hear PSX 2 is good?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.DeSuMe for DS, JPCSP for PSP.
I don’t even know anymore.I used to use GENS for Sega emulating, but the problem I had with it was that those games weren't meant to be seen on computer monitors, so more often than not the picture quality was worse than you'd get on a CRT tv.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatPPSSPP is now better than JPCSP...compatibility is nearly comparable, but PPSSPP is WAY faster...
Give me cute or give me...something?F Pse vs ePSXe for Android.
I've got an HTC One (M8) so chances are speed isn't even an issue here, but as far as features go I'm leaning towards F Pse as it has Widescreen rendering, but I use ePSXe on PC and I like it so I dunno.
Also, how difficult is it to hook up a PS 3 (or PS 4) controller to the HTC One (M8)? Is there a way to do it without rooting, or do you have to root it to use it?

Probably, but JPCSP looked quite a bit easier to use, so I downloaded it instead. The only problems I had were with kinda crappy graphics, but I'm not going to complain since they don't distract from the game, I've dealt with much worse on my computer, and the ROM I'm using is partially to blame. I'm very new to emulators, so easier to use > better quality at the moment.
As for DeSuMe, I'm happy with both the quality and how easy it is to use.

I don’t even know anymore.I don't have the patience to set up Epsxe so i just use pSX. it runs everything pretty accurately to how they'd play on a real playstation, which is good enough for me.
So couple things.
One: Got anything good for Android? GBA and older stuff is fine,
Two: Anything for the PS 2 on PC? Mostly because there's just one game I really wanna play.
Oh really when?PS 2 emulation is fairly good nowadays, though you need a pretty good computer to run the emulator properly.

I'm curious here, if anyone else would be able to explain to me as if I'm an idiot. It's been long enough that it's been figured out how to emulate many later generation systems, most of which primarily are systems with disc-based games (from the PSX to the Dreamcast all the way through to the Wii). My question is, do any of these emulators have the functionality to read discs of the games from these consoles? And I'm not talking homebrew discs or "repros", I'm talking about the official software. I know of at least one that does (from what I've heard, the Wii/GCN emulator Dolphin), but I don't totally understand how it works or how to get it to work right for things like this if it doesn't boot the game from the disc automatically.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.PCSX can read from the disk, you just select your actual disk drive to load from in the settings instead of an iso reader.
I wonder when Seiken Densetsu 3 will be released outside of Japan.......................
