Well, folks, looks like we'll be reading the end of Maul's TCW storyline in comic form.
Can't say I'm too happy about this. On the one hand, we'll be getting closure to Maul's storyline, but on the other hand, it won't be in the way that I had hoped it would be.
Sony fan here.I have the same thoughts, but I'm also a bit worried about how will all of that stuff fit into four comicbook issues. Based upon the intwerview with that guy from DH there'll be a lot going on.
Yeah, it is a shame that we aren't seeing this story in the form it was intended to be in, but it's better than nothing, I guess.
Filoni says that it's based on finished scripts and art assets for Season 6, so it's about as close as you can get without it actually being animated, though.
Oh yeah, heard that too. Interested to see where this goes...
More Bonus Content Info (contains plot synopses for the clone episodes, so spoilers beware). Apparently we aren't just getting the clone, Clovis and Yoda arcs, but also a two parter involving Mace Windu and Jar Jar.
Speaking of the Yoda arc, a synopsis from that German page has been released, but I can't find it on there. I'll post it here anyway in case it is indeed true: "Jedi Master Yoda has a mission to fulfill! A mysterious enemy from the past could soon have a mystical weapon with tremendous power that could be used to devastating effect! To prevent this, the diminutive Master Yoda must embark on a journey in hope he will find answers to a Jedi Masters mysterious disappearance that reveal the secret of his hidden enemy."
Have they discussed how they're being distributed yet?
Nothing certain: there are rumours that they will air on Disney XD as "The Lost Missions" though.
Some big news from the Star Wars Blog (which is awesome in general, by the way): it turns out that the Family of Mortis are in fact none other than the Celestials, the mysterious godlike Precursors to virtually all of Galactic society who've been mentioned throughout the EU.
Just thought that having a solution to that mystery after all these years was really cool.
Yeaaaah that **** was invented by the "amazing" Fate of the Jedi series. Stuff like this is why I'm hoping for a Continuity Reboot, that leaves only the movies, TCW and Rebels canon. Don't get me wrong I know the whole Mortis thing in TCW was already very controversial, but what the novel series brought out of it, is just pure cr*p.
Disney XD? Why not Toonami? Isn't that where TCW is airing these days?
I don't think Cartoon Network has any rights to the episodes.
One thing I never understood: what exactly was controversial about the Mortis arc? I keep on hearing that it was divisive, but I never knew why.
@ Werebasz: Actually, the Celetials have been around for ages, with nary a hint as to what they are for most of that time. Fate indeed connected them to the Family, but the blog has stated for the first time that the Family are Celestials.
The Celestials have been around since the Corellian Trilogy, haven't they? Possibly even sooner?
Wookieepedia lists their first mention as in Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu.
New interview about show's tone:

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).@Tyrannotitan, I don't really get what was the problem with the concept either... As for the Celestials, I know they've been around, it's just the way FOTJ tied them with the family that I find ridicoulusly bad (along with everythingelse in the series).

Meet Chopper the astrodroid of the Ghost's crew.
He kinda looks like a stubbier, makeshift version of R2-D2. But it looks interesting enough in my book, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
I'm surprised this hasn't been posted:
The sixth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will indeed be broadcast in Germany.
Furthermore, there's another episode for the season called "Condition Unknown" and according to the article, it's followed by three more new episodes.
So, basically, 19 days until we get to see the Season 6 episodes on some streaming site. I just hope it's German subbed instead of German dubbed.
Sony fan here.New German Episode Descriptions Surface For The Clone Wars Bonus Content.
"Christoph Wolf from Star Wars-Union.de has sent us translations of the descriptions for two more episodes from The Clone Wars' canceled sixth season that will be airing in Germany. Here they are (beware spoilers): Destiny
Guided by the Force, Yoda travels to the heart of the galaxy. There, on the planet where he finds the origin of the Force, he must face difficult trials. Only upon passing them will the Sages deem him worthy of learning the deepest mysteries of the Force....
Sacrifice
On Moriband, the homeworld of the Sith, the time has come for Yoda to pass his final test. Only then will he learn the best-kept secret of his order, but first a most powerful enemy awaits...."
Note: Moriband is NOT a typo.
Sony fan here.I hope this "most powerful enemy" will be the "Darth Something" Mark Hamill voiced.
There's a fan theory on Jedi Council Forums that has Darth Plagueis as the villain of the ST. There's also a rumor that the end of TCW and Star Wars Rebels will be connected to the ST. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not, but having Darth Plagueis as the villain of the ST would be a nice tie-in for the entire Saga.
Here it is, by the way.
Perhaps Rahm Kota will still be incorporated in Star Wars Rebels, although maybe as a guy who used Clone Troopers, trusted them, but also used non-clones when able.

Sony fan here.
I'm with you on the last "small" arc being the Clovis one. Also, I think the other two arcs are the "really important" arcs.
