Anyone know a good place to stream "Legacy of Mandalore" for free? Because at my usual site, all the links were to a rip of the episode that develops audio lag three and a half minutes in, which is really irritating.
Any suggestions?
I was never here, and you never saw me.It' sounds against the rules to ask or answer that sort of question.
I'm really loving the royal court politics of the Manderlores. I always thought they work best as Knights in Space.
I like how they diversify Mandalorian aesthetics. You no longer see just Jango Fett's helmet all over the place.
I bet Sabine's having a 10-Minute Retirement and will fail to rally Mandalore. Anyone with me?
Also, what's with the ownership of the Darksaber? Saxon never won it but fought Sabine and lost; she also never won it before that, but she didn't kill Saxon either; Ursa shot him but not in one-on-one combat. So does any of the Wrens have a claim?

I'm not sure. Unless they don't intend to bring her back until season 4 I'm expecting her and the Mandalorians to pull a Big Damn Heroes moment in the finale.

I mean, any political claim is just different levels of mental gymnastics, the sabre itself doesn't actually mean anything.
In medieval times political claims were important because there was no easy communication, so when title claimants called their banners, you had to hope you're picking the winning action everyone else is also picking.
So a dark sabre won in combat would be important because you could use it to assume everyone else is assuming everyone else is going to rally.
But a dark sabre on it's own, even if won in combat, is useless if you can't convince people that you might feeisibly be a winning side.
Unless you're trying to rally a people so fanatically obsessed with symbolism and their own codes of honor that they would drop all allegiances just to follow the one who holds it.
Though yeah, given the way Sabine's mother sizes up the situation, I'm sure Clan Wren plans to have more to back themselves up with than a particularly shiny sword.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain."Power lies where men think it lies." And the Darksaber is not the Elder Wand. It does not need to be won fairly in single combat tot he death to be an effective symbol, and Mandalorian culture is such that simply possessing it is enough to make you a big deal.
Plus, I mean, I don't think the Mandalorians are especially happy about being under the Empire's boot.
In the Empire do the trains run on time?

And the Episode was good.
That was a great episode. I love watching Thrawn work. Speaking of Thrawn, I just noticed that his theme has a pipe organ in it. It was nice to see Wullf Yularen again.

In my upcoming Star Wars RPG game, one of the players wants to play a Chiss commando specialized in 'punching things, tactically'. I bet he's gonna be happy with this episode.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenBrilliant use of thrawn's art analysis and attention to detail. Do we think he knows the location of the rebel base because he can recognise which planet is missing?
Kallus has become such an engaging hero.
If I could sum up this episode with one allusion to another CGI cartoon it would be of Thrawn sitting in his chair and saying "Spiders spin their webs, but I spin them larger."
Wouldn't rule that out. Though my my guess is that it'll ultimately be the fact Thrawn knows that Kallus is Fulcrum that results in the discovery of the Rebel Base.
If Thrawn was smart he'd have multiple copies of the map. Then all he has to do is cross reference them to see which planet was changed.
I have to say I really like Thrawn in this series. I never read the Thrawn Trilogy but I'm definitely going to look into buying it some day. It's a nice change of pace to have a villain that's more of a mental threat than a physical one.
Inasmuch as someone who commands the Imperial fleet isn't a physical threat, anyway. :P
I wouldn't be surprised if he memorized the map and instantly noticed that a planet was out of place.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I meant physical threat in terms of close quarters combat. We see him sparring this episode so he's not exactly weak but he probably wouldn't be much of a threat to a Jedi.
Frankly, having multiple copies is just asking for more trouble, since it's really easy to sabotage them all differently, masking what you were actually trying to do.
I'm guessing he'd keep at least one copy in a private terminal that only he has access to.
You can't guarantee there's such a thing. Especially when you know there's a spy on board.
Chimaera!!!!
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for you
So Sabine's left the cast for now, it seems.
