Ah, ok.
Is there an estimated release date?
October 11 in Japan. No word yet for us.
Trans rights are human rights.I was going to have to ugrade to a 3DS XL anyways since my launch day 3DS is... well... I still think it's pretty. Upgrading to a newer system is just fine by me. Especially with the sweetener of Xenoblade.
i. hear. a. sound. One week later, I have a question before I hop back in:
Damage spike enemies. Gems are obviously a must, but past that which works better- constant Aura Seals, or Topple-locking?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaA little of both goes a long way. Later in the game, with Talent Boost, Double Attack, and/or Haste gems, Shulk should be able to fill his Talent Gauge super quickly, so throwing out Purges won't be to troublesome, and then using either normal topple set-up, or Chain attack toppling to unleash everything you've got works quite well.

Heart of StoneThis is starting to tick me off. XD
Stupid small Mechon keep giving me silver chests... when I need their common drop, New Part S, to do a quest.
I have the best worst luck.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaIs Riki in your party? Cuz he has a skill that increases the drop rate of gold and silver chests.
Heart of StoneI remembered that and switched him out, checked my Skill Links... and I'm still getting Silvers.
Oi, I'm gonna be here all night.
Edit: I've gotten a ton of silver chests and three golds. I'm done for now. <.<

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaYeah, this is the one game where the RNG is actually generous in Its undying, divine sadism.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyPersonally I had to use Riki to steal the items for that quest.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome Rob@Topple-lock: For a topple lock party I usually see Seven, Melia, and either Shulk, Dunban, or Reyn, all of whom are also interchangeable with Seven, since while Final Cross is a force topple, you really only need to topple them long enough for Melia's Starlight Kick to come off of cooldown, so extra normal topple arts can do just fine. Usually Melia, Dunban, and Shulk/Reyn are the best, to get someone who can both topple and daze.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!Wise Gremory down! Somehow... the fight where I beat him (party was level 70), I forgot to take Say Sorry! off of the CPU Riki. Oi. But still, I did it! The reward was great, too. "Enjoyment of magnificent view is mandatory."Now, onto the plot spoilery stuff!
The second bout with Yaldabaoth is likely on my personal top ten boss fights list, just for sheer epicness. The vision of Mechonis Slash and the ensuing race against the clock overclocked my HSQ meter. Oi, that was amazing.
And here I was thinking that Zanza was a deceased Giant who had become one with ether. Boy, was I wrong. I had actually figured out Dickson was a bad guy when he opted to stay behind not long before, but connected him to the Bionite Order from earlier instead of Zanza... although, when I think about it, I was still right anyways. I have no doubt the Bionite Order was serving under Zanza the whole time. Still leaves me wondering why they would've sent someone to assassinate Melia specifically... and Shulk, for that matter. What good is killing Shulk going to do for them?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaMaybe the Bionite Order went in a different direction while Zanza was hidden?
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I checked my affinity chart today. ;-;
Beyond that, I've finally figured out what the heck that locked door in Tephra Cave was all about in the first place! Too bad there's level ninety-somethin' Goguls blocking the key to the door. This might take a while...
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaOh God that was a dick punch to the feels.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyYeah, that is brutal. Just wait until quests start popping up.
Speaking of quests, you want to be at least around lv. 75 for one that's given in Frontier Village. Just FYI.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."You know, of all the Bfs's and Laser blades I've seen, I really like the design of the Monado the most. Especially the original one that Shulk is now using in Super Smash Bros.
I kinda wish the thing would show up again in Xeno Blade Chronicles X, just for Shits and giggles.
It just works for me.

One Strip! One Strip!xenoblade has pretty decent art direction in general. the mechon are pretty cool, especially metal-face.
While I think of it, weren't they also going to release a remastered version of Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii U?

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.No. But they are working on a Wii U maybe-a-sequel-but-probably-just-a-spiritual-successor.
I have a message from another time...One character has a Monado hairpin, for what it's worth. And for some reason I'm hoping the Shulk amiibo can unlock the Monado (not the real thing, obviously. still has a laser blade and all) as a weapon.
...y'know, one thing I hope they do in Xenoblade Chronicles X is that you can keep the looks of one weapon or armor set while equipping the stats of another. It bugs me when games fail to do this, even if Xenoblade generally avoids Rainbow Pimp Gear by making the whole matching set of armor the better option.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse Alberiaits a shame xenoblades armor looks terrible in general, usually you'll wanna take the good looking pieces and mix them to get something halfway resembling high entia fashion.
theres always something that ruins a full set's look.
Starbound allows you to do that, so there's no reason Xenoblade couldn't.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...
No, the C-Stick is a smaller one above the buttons. It was apparently inspired by the Gamecube controller.
