Melia's damage output is extremely high so that's not surprising to see, especially in chain attacks.
It's not just a dropkick. It's the Shining Wizard.
One Strip! One Strip!I just fought Metal Face and two adds and for some reason everyone targeted me and my party members did fuck all.
I will never get over how fucking hysterical Melia's dropkick is.

Generally, you're probably just more competent than the AI- It's always easier for a player to hold aggro than an ai because well, you'll spam.
Holy shit, I thought it was a myth, but I actually managed to finish Bearing Her Soul. What an awful mission. But at least it's done. I think my plan of action now is get the DLC, get a few costumes I like, then head on over to New Game+.
I'd suggest also fully completing Ursula's affinity chart, or at least any nodes that hinge on Bearing Her Soul being complete.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! The one good thing about Ursula's quest is that she makes filling out the affinity charts of other blades a breeze.
All those empty nodes in an affinity chart? The amount of progress they get from a single merc mission is completely unaffected by the length of the mission, so super short missions will fill them out quickest.
Alright. Poppi's third form is complete.
It'll be quite useful I'd say. Thanks to her, I could do a full blade combo (or is that a drive combo).
...and now I think about Tiger Tiger, and how much I'm going to have to grind to get the rest of the stuff she needs.
God, I hate, Hate, HATE, HATE Tiger Tiger. It's how much time it takes. That's the killer.
I can go for the bonus areas, but they have to be there first. I think what makes it the worst is that if you die, you lose everything, making everything you did a waste. If they at least let you keep the crystals and treasures you had, you could still make some progress even if you fail. Plus my failure to get the right high scores has prevented me from filling the last two nodes in Poppi Alpha's Affinity.
One Strip! One Strip!Guitar shredding battle music out of nowhere
Welcome to the Mechonis, where the music is awesome and the "fields" are vertically-stacked metal platforms.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Mechanical Rhythm is probably one of my favorite standard battle themes in anything ever.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Don't bother with Tiger Tiger's bonus levels. Just focus on grinding level 5 and getting all the chests.
The tier 6 class mods are only possible to get as random rewards from the big chest of level 5, and all the other tons of parts you'll get in the process can be converted into crystals.
Also, in NG+ you can just straight up buy crystals.
As for Poppi Alpha's affinity chart, that last node requires getting a Perfect on a level of Tiger Tiger. This is easiest to do on level 1. It means you need to do all of the following in a single run:
- Not take damage.
- Kill every enemy.
- Collect every crystal.
- Collect every chest.
It takes a lot of practice.
Agreed. And You Will Know Our Names is one of my all time favorite battle themes in general, which is pretty incredible for a non-boss theme.

For the DLC items, do you just get them once period, or can you get them all over again if you start NG+?
Once, period.
Not counting DLC quest rewards.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I honestly can't say I've ever spent so much time in one single JRPG before.
I'm currently 239 hours into XC 2, currently in Chapter 10, just taking my time to get all the blades (Still missing Kora, KOS-MOS, and Zenobia, the damn legendary core crystals taunt me every time I open one.)
I remember getting 100% completion in XCX around the 215 hour mark.
Just going one by one through each of the blades I have and doing their personal quests.
You may as well finish the story now and then resume doing Blade Quests, that way T-elos gets added to the summoning pool.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! To be expected. Had to check at least.
The love potion is the true MVP of the DLC. I always knew drugs were good for you.
Yeah, after all you should always drug people that doesn't respond favorably to your demands right away. Thanks for teaching us this aesop, game.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Is there any way to escape a battle without running all over god's green earth in the hopes that the enemy will lose interest before the heat death of the universe? It's killing my resource hunting and fighting either takes too long or ends up attracting like fifty bajillion enemies.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Pyra costumes and merc level 5 get. I think that's everything I wanted to grab before starting over. Might do that soon.
The other option is to buy them a copious amount of ponchos, which somehow also made them love you. Because ponchos are truly the ultimate symbol of friendship.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!...so, when you use rare cores but get common blades, do those blades have more crowns?
I never considered that before when I was opening cores, and tend to use a lot of common cores (because I'm trying to get rid of them all).
One Strip! One Strip! They often do I believe. Character level has a bigger impact though I think.
I'm not enchanting her (gave Riki a Mechon weapon) and she's still destroying them. She's doing as much damage as Shulk.
