Pardon me from combo breaking, but I'm a drop out of high school
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...- Started a Literature degree, had to drop out after a year due to family and money problems.
- Associates in Business Administration.
- Currently in a Medical program.
Also, about 4 1/2 years in banking and time in various other industries gives me some knowledge about them and a bit of an insider's view.

Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and History. Thinking about a Master's in the future but I have no idea what subject I would pursue. Counterterrorism sounds cool but also sounds like an Underwater Basket Weaving-type major.
Wise Papa Smurf, corrupted by his own power. CAN NO LEADER GO UNTAINTED?!Currently heading into fourth year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
Planning to pursue a Master's focusing on renewable energy research down the line.

hashtagsarestupidI think he meant study Math at a tertiary education level. There are degrees for stuff like Applied Mathematics.

Haw Haw HawIndeed, yes, although it's not required here. I hope to study Maths at university.

If I announce my areas of expertise, I'll shortly make a careless post on the topic that contains a careless error. That's just how the universe works.
I got my associates in Counter-Terrorism Studies relatively recently. I work in IT now, and I have several years law enforcement experience.

What's your opinion of the program? Would you say that it was time well-spent? I ask because I was having a chat with some of my friends and they suggested that Counterterrorism might be too specialized and not useful in the future.
Wise Papa Smurf, corrupted by his own power. CAN NO LEADER GO UNTAINTED?!It isn't really useful unless you have a very specific background and a very specific desire for a certain type of job.
Namely, it isn't worth dirt unless you have a law, military, or law enforcement background and want to become a federal agent or some other Homeland Security related job. All those jobs require a bachelors, so a CTS degree is kind of just icing on the cake.
I really enjoyed the subject matter though. I got my degree through American Military University, a derivative of American Public University. I'm going to follow up with a bachelors program for Security Management or Homeland Security, and try to either go for the feds or the marshals.
If you don't have the accompanying Do J background though, it isn't a useful degree at all.

Might as well chime in: I'm a college student studying Computer Science. I also have hobby-level knowledge of classical civilizations, US military history, linguistics, and Christian theology.
<><A Brit here, my leading qualification to date is a B Sc in Pure Mathematics (although in my third and final year I took mostly theoretical physics courses...which goes a long way to explaining why I scraped through with lower 2nd class honours. xD)
Even more laughably, after I graduated, I found that my low grade basically disqualified me from all graduate openings as being underqualified, whilst my having a degree disqualified me from the majority of school-leaver positions. Yay.
After spending waaaaaay too many years unemployed, have headed back to college to get professionally qualified with the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and hopefully become a Chartered Accountant in a few years.
Bachelor's in History, currently working on my Master's in History.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Finishing the Master's in Communication Sciences, graduated in the same area.
Ign'ant white trash hick. Dropped out of high school, failed out of the Army.
Most of what I know has been the result of independent study, largely because people were talking about something and I wanted to know what was being discussed before forming an opinion on it. That and just talking to people about what their life experiences have been like, to get an idea of what it's like to be someone other than me.
I consider theater, military, and social issues to be my fields of strength. I'm also pretty good at history. I'm awful at science.

Like Jon Snow, I know nothing. I do have a +1 bracers of making lame jokes though.
I may have a bachelor's degree in psychology laying around but no one cares about that. I don't.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesArtillery something, but I never got that far because the infantry training at Fort Sill kicked my ass.

New Survey coming this weekend!I've been to four different majors across multiple universities, but due to a combination of poor choices, emotional immaturity and lack of money I didn't conclude any of them. I'll probably go back to university at some point I guess, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't burned out on the prospect. I might not have a choice since I don't have much in the way of work experience and with no connections it's proving impossible to even get a job as menial as a supermarket bag boy.
About the only thing I can really do at this point that might eventually pay off is my art, and I'm still a ways off on that. I guess adding onto that, art and art history are probably my strengths and the fields I feel most comfortable talking about.

@The Professor, Technically it's Communications, but I'm not sure why. I have three emphasis: History, English, and Journalism in that order.
My Religious Studies emphasis was in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam. My Art History was all over the board.
