That is Amazon for ya.
Rotpar, you are scaring the **** out of me with that damn spoiler of yours...
As of Nova... hm... well... I wouldn't know. Blizzard might be trolling in some capacity. Worst cases is that either she doesn't appear, or she appears in a very minor capacity. Like, I dunno, make her antagonistic again for some reason and then you ended up offing her? (if that was the case, the justification is, what's one Ghost compared to an apocalyptic godlike being like Amon?)
... Sorry if I sound overly pessimistic.
Nova has always been extremely secondary. She appears in one mission in WOL, one mission in HOTS, and she only appears in Heroes because Blizzard has been avoiding dual versions of the same character (but they may very well have used Ghost!Kerrigan instead of her)(whether it is Redhead!Sarah or Dreadlocks!Sarah, she is more prominent than Nova is as a ghost).
Honestly, were she not voiced by Grey DeLisle, she would be completely forgettable to me.
I know, I have that feeling as well. Which is why I thought Blizzard's claim about her 'importance' feels like a very much dissonance. I mean, it's not about how fans might have perceived her poorly, but if they ARE promoting her 'importance', they sure aren't showing that thing strong enough.
Well, with Warfield dead, maybe Nova could become a commanding officer for Valerian's Dominion when they team up with the Protoss.

Her book was pretty good, though.
I... wouldn't know about that. Nova has very minimum Protoss influence as compared with Raynor, and this is a campaign about Protoss. Pray tell, how would Artanis give her a damn when she completely has nothing to do with Aiur and the Protoss, as opposed to Raynor who fought tooth and nail there against the Overmind, with the Protoss? I thought the new Dominion would have a lot to deal with because the Shadow Corps just trashed their home.
Also, not sure if someone would put a Ghost as a commanding officer. Dunno, just doesn't seem like the unit in general is made for commandment.

I've always liked the idea of John Raynor's death being a coverup for induction into the Ghost program. And that the only reason Mengsk didn't send him after his dad was because after losing his family to Confederate Ghosts, that was the one line he wouldn't cross. Bombing Korhal? Sure. Murdering innocent civilians to save his hide? No prob. Sending a Ghost after his own dad? Fuck that. (Also, there's the whole martyr thing to think about.)
but HOW?Oldie but goodie.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, got my pre-order sorted out. Tempted to try beta, haven't played an online RTS match since Warcraft III. Back then I kind of had fill of being curbstomped by a smurf account.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Wait, which one? At this point we've had quite a few.
but HOW?I really wished the Shadow Corps had some Foreshadowing in Heart of the Swarm; they really seem to come out of nowhere. Like maybe someone inside the Dominion or even Raynor's Raiders was using Mengsk like a puppet to gather troops for Amon.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Oh, right, yeah, that thing. Eh, it was pretty cool. Archon was nice, pylon was nice. I kinda wish it'd been a bit more than a skirmish, though. Feels like a bit of a downgrade from the Heart of the Swarm cinematic.
but HOW?It's nice for being a bit less one-sided.
Considering those guys were the tip of the spear I'm not surprised there were so few of them.
I am. If you want to establish a forward bace, logically it would be wiser to send more troops than less.
but HOW?They could probably only teleport a few at a time. The pylon was put there so that they could do it en masse.
Couldn't they just have sent, y'know, a few Warp Prisms or something? :P
but HOW?Speaking of Aiur I'm really annoyed that they're going to start off with that and then go "Whoops, can't do it today because plot!"
Why can't they end the campaign with a bunch of missions about that? End it on another triumphant note.
Watching the two cinematics back-to-back (HoTS and then LoTV), I think it works even better because you can see it as them fighting off the same things that stomped all over the Terrans. The ultralisks seemed unstoppable in the first one, and here an archon kills one of those same unstoppable giants in single combat.

Well, that's a crock of shit. I preordered the expansion from Amazon for beta access and to receive Artanis for HOTS when he's released in the next week or two.
I'll only get my beta access and character keys after the game has been released and shipped.
Yeah, definitely want that access to a test period that won't exist.
