Chapter 97 out.
The lure of the wild stallion strikes again.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.I could not tell if that was a boy or girl until the story clarified.
I believe that was intentional, and English's dearth of un-gendered pronouns spoiled it.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise. That was a beefy looking business plan that Hachiken put together. Even though it was rejected, this looks like its going to turn into yet another Hachiken plan that seems deceptively simple but turns into something way larger than anyone suspected.
I laughed at the end. Sorry, Hachiken, I know I should be on your side, and I am, but your dad's now perma-link to my funny bone.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.I started using this avatar as kind of a joke, but I'm liking it more and more. Is it weird that I thought Hachiken's dad was kind of an asshole at first, but now I sort of like him (or at least respect what he's trying to do for Hachiken)?
The two are not mutually exclusive.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Hmm...some people here had trouble discerning the new student's gender?
- Must...resist...urge...to make fun of Scotsmen...*
Oh yeah, and I like Nishikawa's elegant yet simple solution to Yugo's problems!
Hmm...some people here had trouble discerning the new student's gender?
I'm a bit surprised they didn't hold back on the gender reveal, neutral pronouns or not (reminded me of a filler in FMA '03). Miha's pretty cute.

If they didn't hold back then it's probably not really intentional. At most, Hachiken doesn't know, which would probably mean that Miha is actually here because she's a Hachiken fangirl, not a horse fan. Which would be kind of annoying, really.

She does look pretty tiny for a high schooler... *realizes a similar situation in Yu Gi Oh GX* Oh boy.
Have you seen a high school freshman recently? They're tiny.
Sometimes.
I was pretty sure the new girl was a boy actually… oh well.
What I'm waiting for is to see Ayame make her big entrance as a tranfer student! She has to!

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Well, unless Miha was masquerading as a Scotsman, the kilt pretty much gave it away.
*rereads the chap* That… makes sense indeed.
It may have been his shirt, though!

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Mr. Hachiken hasn't been wrong thus far in regard with Hachiken. He may have driven his two sons over the edge. Even though Hachiken have beef up his business plan from the 8 page chicken scratch that Tamako rejects outright, his rejection of the updated plan still shows what reality really is like. Banks reject this kind of proposals by actual professionals ALL THE TIME in real life. It's a long show to say the least getting his father to transfer the college fund to his harebrain plan. Even the initial pages of this chapters shows how scratchy his plan still is when discussing with his 2 classmates.
Anyway, what kind of 16/17yo high-schooler starts to build up an entire business plan? —.—" I feel ashamed to be someone ordinary when I read these chapters… I almost prefered when he had a This Loser Is You vibe to him.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Well, his dad clearly cares to put reading that ahead of going to sleep.
Looks like the hiatus is over as chapter 98-100 are cranked out. I swear Okawa having less common sense than Tokiwa. What the hell was he thinking of when getting a black piglet for pet. And it's not one that will stay small.

LOL, Okawa not getting money for pay for his job, but something else. And he doesn't intent to keep the pig as a pet...tasty!
And Yoshino going to France to see some fishies!
Ahaha, the new girl's reaction to Minamikujo was great.
Awww, it's a cute li'l piggy. Pork Bowl 2.0? New girl's reactions continue to be the best. Why would you accept a pig as payment? Unless you already had the means to take care of it, it seems like it would cost more than its worth as payment.
Berubara is of course the perfect resource for studying French Oh no, poor Yoshino. You'd think they would have told her what the school was like before she got there.
Where's 99 and 100? WHERE ARE THEY?!
Arslan whick Arakawa is drawing is good, but it also makes me want to rail at it - because of you, we're getting Silver Spoon more slowly!
Two negatives makes a positive. <3
So, that's why Arakawa went to France.
Btw, is it normal for a mangaka to be able to draw for two publishers? A while back I remember reading about how Arakawa couldn't use FMA characters for a special, because different publishers. Right now, Arawaka is drawing for Shogakukan and Kodansha, two of the big three manga publishing companies.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines."Help me" Sorry Yoshino, but that was just too funny.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!
Couldn't resist taking a sneak peek of the latest chapter...
...NOOOOOO!!! He did not become moe with those glasses!!
