Rename, and expand?: Super Trophy Super Rack

So presumably the name is meant to reflect "superheroes put "super-" in front of everything, so their Trophy Rack would be a Super Trophy Super Rack!", but it sounds clunky and obstructs the meaning. Just Super Trophy Rack would be an improvement.

Meh on the title. I think it would be better as Super Trophy Rack, and think it's doable. Also, the page is ancient, the real life section hasn't even been moved to the bottom.

Fight smart, not fair.

What's the difference between this and The Collector?

The Collector is an antagonistic figure, and Super Trophy Super Rack applies to heroic protagonists. That seems to be the difference.

We also seem to have Trophy Room, and according to the links between the two tropes, STSR is just The Same But More of that.

Trophy Room: "If they have had an adventurous and eventful life it may become a full blown museum, taking up not just a wall or room but an entire wing of their mansion as it verges on becoming (or surpassing) a Super Trophy Super Rack"

STSR: "These collections might be all over their base, have their own room in the base, or be only a modest trophy rack with all the keys to different cities they saved from destruction."

These tropes still need to be sorted out.

I Thought It Meant Most Common Superpower. Well, I guess that that's already in the page.

I don't see what 'Super Rack' means, though, aside from that.

^ AFAICT, it's "Trophy Rack" plus a joke about stuff to do with superheroes being called "Super-X". So a superhero's Trophy Rack becomes a Super-Trophy Super-Rack. But yeah, Most Common Superpower does spring more readily to mind.

So, any ideas?

This thread should have been called "Super misleading: Super Trophy Super Rack". Other than that, no, no ideas.

I wast to say something like "The Superhero's Museum".

I'd say move all examples of Super Trophy Super Rack to Trophy Room and have done with it.

I apologize for being late to this thread, but there is now a page action crowner for this trope here. Feel free to add options as you see fit.

I think there's room enough for both tropes. Super Trophy has a detailed definition and almost as many wicks as Trophy Room so it seems healthy. Most importantly, Super Trophy talks a lot about the use of the room in visual media to avoid Wall of Text and Purple Prose. I see it as a subtrope.

God, rename it. And this isn't quite trophies as much as memorabilia in general.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

Bump for votes. Right now 5-0 in favor of Super Trophy Rack with no other options, and probably no other options necessary.

Not too fond of that, as I keep thinking of... the other definition of rack.

EDIT: Added a couple more options.

[up]Ha, thought I was the only one.

Fixed spelling of "memento," then downvoted the name.

Anyone else want to vote on this?

I'd like a couple more votes before I call this. I'd rather at least 15 min.

I added Super Tropy Case. We generally call it a trophy case, right, not a trophy rack?

"Trophy Case" gets 13,000,000 ghits. "Trophy Rack" gets 130,000 and "Trophy Shelf" 250,000.
