The only thing that would concern me is if someone would try to censor anything like that, but I think at this point, Kojima can pretty much do almost anything he wants. Plus, he's already trying to push limits and talk about a lot of taboo shit, so this would make sense for him to do that onscreen too. Make all the homophobic dudebros angry! :D

(Or as I like to describe it, everything that goes down is due to a dorky soldier and the blond harem he builds up over the years.) Dude, you should've seen my reactions when I saw the image for the Story to Gameplay Ratio ratio, then went to the Ho Yay page—which in itself was surprising because it had its own page—to investigate. The content looked like business as usual at first, but then I got to the "Ocelot was quite in love with BB" part, and I think I nearly dropped my laptop before thinking "I don't know who you are, Revolver Ocelot, but I like you already." The rest is history.

Like I said, I can only imagine what high school would've been like for me if I'd been into MGS earlier. I got into the slash parts of fandom literally a month before starting freshman year, and that probably would've messed with my enjoyment of other fandoms, probably seeing everything else as chump change compared to MGS canon. ^^'

We had less than a dozen fiddles at Barranquilla, some with barely enough fiddles to protect themselves. Now here we are not one fiddle later and over 300 fiddles strong. But the way I see it, this is still our Fiddle Hour. Once this fiddle is behind us, I want to fiddle you some fiddles about fiddlespansion.

If we could now chalk up Huey's suicide to guilt over being involved with Big Boss, then why did he try to take to take Emma out with him?

I would actually be more inclined to now consider that Huey's suicide was actually an assassination if it wasn't for the fact that Emma was at the scene too—unless her panic at that time somehow made her forget important details.

Also about her, from what I remember, Huey didn't intend to drag her in, and it was an accident. I don't think we know how that happened, but that was the explanation given in MGS2.

That's all accurate, but we have to remember ths is all from Otacon's point of view, it's possible Emma DID see an assailant but The Patriots manipulated her some way.

Yeah, Emma must've been held at gunpoint or something, otherwise I don't know why else she wouldn't say anything^note You know, other than the obvious "Kojima didn't plan this shit back in 2001" thing.

I'm still open to the possibility that the Phantom Pain will lead into a whole new continuity and render everything from MG onwards non-canon.

I still desperately want my MG1 and 2 remakes (with obvious canon adjustments and possibly more inclusion of my favorite characters), so I don't know how I'd feel about that.

You both may be about to get your respective wishes come true.

So we should expect the Phantom Pain remake sometime in 2030?
