Honestly, the death of the other candidates is as much as a result of their own insanity as his.
And they were all voiced by Matt Hullum. It sure sounded like it.
So I guess the next ep will be about Alpha Church.
grahIt sounded to me like all the other cast members did impressions of him
Remember Jimmy, the guy that Tex beat with his own skull? That never happened, but Church was basically body surfing him in the beginning of the series. Poor Jimmy.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Not only that, but Flowers was the reason Vic acts weird, brought Caboose, Donut and Sister to Blood gulch instead of actual Freelancers!!!! All because of a wet floor....

[DATA LOST]Well now we know what happened to Jimmy.
This episode explained a lot about the time between Project Freelancer past and Blood Gulch.
Exactly what I thought. The PFL and BG events made sense individually, but this episode glued them together in a nice way
And the long held theory about Church Being stuck in some poor souls body was proven true. Never would have called it being Private Jimmy though, that was brilliant
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Man, poor Jimmy. That's some seriously cruel shit.
We knew he never had a human body to begin with, but I assumed it would just get forgotten about. Then they specifically brought up the fact that he was getting used to having a body again in the Epsilon Unit. Now it all makes sense.
Just...damn. Poor Jimmy indeed.
Everything was explained nicely, except for what started Sarge's hatred for Grif. Seeing them be friendly was funny, and I bet a reference to how RT was originally going to have them stop squabbling in the Blood Gulch Chronicles.
Heh, only took 8 seasons behind schedule on that one.
On the one hand, this has felt like a fun return to the classics.
On the other hand, as someone who was never a fan of the more serious side of Red vs Blue and thought the giant 'Freelancer' story stuff should have been it's own completely separate thing, I can't say I'm a fan of what's feeling like a Cerebus Retcon to the original storyline that made me a fan of the series in the first place (feel free to correct me if I'm thinking of the wrong trope).
I honestly liked things better when Church really was 'just' a ghost and they didn't feel a need to explain the why for the stupid silly jokes from the early days or fill plot holes.

I personally really like the dramatic stuff, but even aside from preference I don't think they could have carried on just being funny for 14 seasons.

Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.New episode is going to use stop motion with (I think) Mega Blocks. I love stop motion, so this is going to be great.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?So legos and Halo figures? I'm down with that.
@Space. No offense meant, but you bring up your dislike of the plot every other post. It's kind of assumed by this point.
But yeah, BGC was getting into a rut around season 4/5, changing things up with the miniseries and Reconstruction if nothing else gave the series new life. And it's never looked back.
The fact that RVB switches to new arcs every few seasons keeps it active and fresh. Many comedies would've become self-referential and stale, but the series has amazingly known when to try something different when an arc's starting to get long.
That being said, I wouldn't mind a Chorus miniseries, the new cast is great. Amusingly one reviewer said during season 12 the older fans weren't going to care and would get annoyed, but most with a name have grown popular, especially Dr. Emily Grey and Jensen. It's a bit regretable that with so much going on, there wasn't much time to follow the lieutenants during season 13.
What we did get, they've got the dynamic for some good interactions during an actual war to boot.
Dr. Grey is definitely one of the best things to come out of the past few seasons.
It looks like they used LEGOs and Mega Blox. Also, the new episode is great.
Is it just me, or did Church and Simmons sound off? Church sounded like he was using the Church-In-Caboose's-Head voice, while Simmons just didn't sound like Simmons at all.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Well, that was trippy...
I liked it, but everyone's voice sounded pitched up.

Think that was the intention, what's with everybody being a brick figure.
Kind of a shame Freckles didn't utter a single word. Also loved how they basically laughed off Donut's dying spree.
grahEveryone was pitched up a tad, it was just more obvious in the Already High Pitched characters like Simmons and Church.
This episode was really funny and the animation was top notch! Fun, cute, and pure. We now have Caboose picking up Church bridal style as a canon image, Sarge telling Simmons he did a good job, and Carolina sending Hargrove to his room. A+++, 10/10, Best.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Well that just went all Lego Movie quickly.
I also like how the kid was Malcolm Hargrove.
New ep is out.
And with it, a new team of RED's to at Blood Gulch.
grah
Exactly XD And it's also nice to learn that Sarge is, in fact, not his birth name. Bringing the total things we know about Sarge as an entity outside of the Red Army to... zero, literal zero.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.
