Hopefully they'll be playable in multiplayer. Because Khorne knows I want to go around chopping stuff up with a chain axe in the name of KAY OHSS Chaos.
NO MERCY FOR THE MISGUIDED!
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
Wait, what am I saying? I support the Tau!
No you don't. You only worship Khorne. Now go and cut out the throats of those who dare hold back from the battlefield!
Anyway, the gameplay looks generic.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.If there is no fight on top of a Gargant/Titan, I'm suing Relic.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.My only complaint is that they're using the Ultrasmurfs as the protagonists, instead of a cooler chapter.

Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!You know what's hilarious?
Every time someone complains about the Ultramarines, Matt Ward is hired to do another codex.
Oddly enough, Ward doesn't actually play Ultramarines. He plays another famous chapter, but I forgot which one

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Oh, c'mon. It's Red Vs Blue EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jonah FalconBLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
Now that's out of my system (and I'm a stupid Eldar player). It would be nice to have playable Dark Angels or Black Templars. In fact, I'm damn excited, even if not a real Space Marine fan, for the MMO because it's the Templars.
Hoping the game doesn't disappoint. I'll play it regardless of who stars in the game, and for all the cash-cow pimping they get, Space Marines are damn cool as a whole. Even the Ultrasmurfs, who all Space Marines, even Primarchs, wish they could be.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Ultrasmurfs, with Ultrasmurfette.
Jonah FalconAt 2:15, an Ork gets kicked in half. This bodes well.
The Blood Angels and Space Wolves say "hi".
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!I think we can all agree the ultramarines are lame. The game does look promising though, even if i can't go all white scar crazy biker on their asses. I like the mixture of shooting and melee.
Also, who at any point doubted chaos marines would make an appearance?
Bleye knows Sabers.
Especially them. They secretly wish to be Ultrasmurfs. I'm pretty certain it's why Horus turned to Chaos; "Waaahhh, my Luna Wolves/Sons are lame and not the supreme end-all, be-all pinnacle of the Astartes, that's it, I'm going to Chaos".
Then he had spikes coming out of his head, and still wished he could be an Ultrasmurf
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Matt Ward, if you could kindly leave this forum, that'd be greatly appreciated.
And this is coming from somebody who LIKES the Ultramarines.

I hope I'm detecting sarcasm here.
Ultramarines were kinda cool before Ward turned them from Space Romans into the Canon Sue of the 41st millennium. Before that there were other Chapters out there who I thought were more interesting (uniqueness and all but the Ultras were still cool.
If Relic just plays up the good parts of the fluff (they ignored everything Goto did with the Blood Ravens) than the story and characters should at least be passable. How hard can it be to make the Emperor's Angels of Death badass?
Also; Chaos Space Marines in multiplayer. This I demand.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Back in 2009, they said that the Ultramarines were placeholders and that you could choose your Space Marine troupe. That may have changed, tho. But it could be like Shepard in the early ME videos. No one knew at the time you could have a different looking male Shep, much less a Femshep.
Jonah FalconSo, they're still hushhush on the other factions, up until that daemonic purple fog?
Not entirely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bleNGlN9MXc&feature=related
This pretty much confirms Chaos Marines as villains.
And picking your Space Marine Chapter would cause issues in single player. Its more than just a color swap; its a complete different combat doctrine.

Again with the Word Bearers...well, at least it isn't the Black Legion for the third 40k game in a row. When are we gonna see some Thousand Sons, Relic?
