Making a guide for "Character Personality". For this wiki (need help):

Element of love
Hey guys. I am making a guide to develop character personality on this wiki.Click here. This project is very ambitious.

Basically I want to make the best guide for deveoliping character personality on the internet ever available to everyone. Despite my best wishes I will need your help on this one. However iIF we join forces I believe this could be amazing. Thanks in advance

You can visit the work so far here

FAQ

  • We already have Make Interesting Characters
    • Truth However I believe character pesonlaity is the most important part of a chracter. On the other guide that aspect is not covered in depth. Furthermore I believe that this topic is too complex to deserve it's own page. Let's not forget that this guide focuses only on character personality. While the other guide may include other stuff like clothing.
  • Why your grammar sucks so much?
    • Well I am not a native speaker. But don't worry I use a spell checker. And I won't launch it until it has the best grammar possible.Eventually I will spell check the work at last 10 times the work before launching
  • Why are you doing this guide?
    • Well I want to create amazing characters toogrin. I have discovered that the best way to learn is to make an investigation yourself.
  • Why do you ask help?
    • Becuase there are alot of amzing writers on this wiki. And I am sure together we can create something amazing. That will help tropers and all people create deep and interesting stories.
  • Character "X" is amazing and doesn't follow your guidelines..
    • I agree. The guide is designed to make a character as human as possible. Skilled writers are able to break those rules becuase they alrady dominate them. Otherwise unexpreienced writers will make puppet characters.Instead of people
  • But puppets are amazing characters too for example Elmo!!
    • I agree :) However I am using the term "puppet" as methapor for a character that is only an extension of the will of a writter and not a fully developed person.

Away on the wind~
You should make that last point clear on the page itself.
There are too many toasters in my chimney!

[up] Thanks already done :)

I'm pretty sure that if you're using the computer's spell check, if you don't change anything in the document between spell checks doing it more than once won't make a difference.

Anyway.

What exactly are you basing your guideline on? Like what readers tend to respond positively to, or something?

[up] there is stuff spell checkers can't detect tongue. (sintaxis, coding and redundancies)

Basically I want to convey the development of personality. What makes a character a person and therefore complex and interesting (well mostly). :)

I am leaving up "likeability" up to the audience to decide. However we can give some tips on likeabilitygrin.

There are an awfully large amount of pictures on the YKTTW. Are you sure that's allowed?
Element of love
[up] I am not sure but I think it is only prohibited on trope pages.

I don't think 3-4 pictures counts as an "awful lot". I like them, makes the page less monotonous.

... So can someone edit the grammar on that pretty soon? I can't get into it while the Grammar's that bad.

No offense, I like what you're doing, and want to contribute, but... let's just say that the pun on Grammar Nazi I want to make would probably get thumped.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
