I read it the same way Alice did.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Quite the slow learner, aren't we?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."And they all grew up to be Spartan Warriors.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated. The newest one made it difficult to breathe.
Please."I would find him and I would forgive him. I would forgive the shit out of him."
I'm still laughing.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelTHAT WAS AMAZING.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.I can't shake the "Love and tolerate the shit out of you" meme vibe. It makes the strip even funnier

Perhaps it should be "The Reign of Lifeblood" so it doesn't sound so grim......what? What's everyone staring at?
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117This newest one. Why. WHY! Why are you so damned funny.
Please.http://oglaf.com/homecoming/1/
Mom was right! Honesty IS the best policy!
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117I laughed out loud. As much as I like the main story line, I really do enjoy the one-offs more.
And the artist is really good with the facial expressions. I can't put my finger on exactly what changes in the girl's face between panel 4 and 5 but something does. And it positively makes panel 6.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Oh lord, I laughed. XD
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987^^ I never put my finger on that, but you're right, the facial expressions always just sell this comic.
What matters in this life is much more than winning for ourselves. What really matters is helping others win, too. - F. Rogers.Oh and since nobody seems to have mentioned it in this thread the chick who does Oglaf also does Platinum Grit, which is well worth checking out if you want to see more work in the "virginal gingers being tormented by psycho nymphomaniacs" theme. It has ways less dicks and boobies though, so it may disappoint some Oglaf fans :)
The latest one made me laugh out loud again. I really like most of her one-offs.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I love the series' off-the-wall sense of humor on fantasy conventions like "Homecoming" Good stuff.
With blood and rage of crimson red ripped from a corpse so freshly dead together with our hellish hate we'll burn you all that is your fateZeus' golden rain incident was always particularly creepy.
I love Olgaf, but it always makes me feel so uncomfortable...not sure if its in a good or bad way.
http://www.legacy-control.com/Does anyone know what the current oglaf's reference is?
It's a fox who gives a guy a princess made of sticks and then makes him marry her. And then err... consummate the marriage.
It's amusing, but it feels like it is specifically referencing/making fun of something, like a lot of her one offs do.
Anyone got any ideas?
I'm only getting the general trickster archetype fox.
I think it's the whole "help a wild animal, get a random wife" fairy tale that is being joked here.
Please.I think that's an actual Japanese fable, but I don't know the specifics of the story.

Pretty sure this is a parody of the scene common to barbarian stories where a witch/seer/whatev demands sex for location of macguffin even though with the description provided they could just get laid by asking any guy so it makes no sense that would demand sex as payment.
The Answer for why? They are fucking morons.
