Need Help with a Sketch

It's for Already Been Chewed News. I'm trying to come up with the most horribly insignificant, uninteresting story possible for my Large Ham character to report on, possibly something that fits Yet Another Baby Panda. Not looking for an entire sketch, just a framework. It's annoying, this is the episode's last segment and I'm hopelessly stuck...

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

How about a sheep in a middle of a meadow? Your Large Ham reporter would try to interview it, with no avail...but then at the end of the interview, you can use one of your Brick Jokes, like if someone was launch in the sky near the beginning, he would land on the sheep.

We don't have the budget for a sheep, although there is going to be a Brick Joke—our weatherman, Sunny Daze, not having done a proper report (not even being able to tell if it will rain tomorrow), is told to have one ready for the end of the show or he'll be fired. When the anchor, Seth Leonardson, closes out the show, Sunny calls him from the next room. Seth runs to see what's happening, and sees Sunny, at a computer, triumphantly claiming that it will, in fact, be raining tomorrow.

Unfortunately, that has nothing to do with the ham. So...yeah.

Really, we need a story that can be told with little strain on our budget and is mundane enough to be hilarious when dictated by a Bryan Blessed-esque character.

Wait, your show is a live-action format? Then instead of a sheep, just replace it with a houseplant that got left in a meadow. That's even more ordinary...and maybe funnier, depending what questions are being asked ( what's your favorite color? Will it rain tommorow?).

By the way, I'm on an iPhone. How's my typing?

EDIT:Will I get credit for this if you use it?
