Because that post was a sweeping denigration of entire groups of people and what amounted to a statement that you find this discussion pointless, couched in inflammatory terms. That doesn't fly.

I have issues with group related pride. (when it's actual pride that is.) Not that I don't get it, but more that when you have pride in something you've never achieved or worked for it's almost like an excuse not to try to be so much more than what you are. I have to say once I dropped this whole "XYZ Pide" thing , I realized I had nothing of my own to be proud of and I really hit the group hard to define something I could be proud of "me."

Nope. It was a denigration of racialists who want to harass members of their race into narrow templates (e.g: "You're betraying your black roots by listening to metal/having a nonblack partner/not siding with our favourite race hustler of the moment/not voting Obama.")

Just to point out that mainly affects black people. If you provided example of white racialists like Patrick Buchanan etc etc it'd sound more neutral.

My little Mad Lib was an example, and one (partially) derived from experience, at that.
