[up] NVM what?

Anyway, finally saw the first episode of Turbo: FAST on Netflix. As someone who hasn't seen the movie, I can say that this show's starting to be not bad. smile

Anyone else decided to bite the bullet and saw at least the first episode?

P.S. Did Grey De Lisle get married or something? Because the credits called her Grey De Lisle-Griffin.

Saw the first episode and I can't believe how good the music is! I now most of it is rehashed from the film, but it works! Nice job how Titmouse basically used the exaggeration from Black Dynamite in their animation. Love it. grin

The villains are pretty imposing like in Motorcity.

Leave it to Titmouse to making something that's (reportedly) mediocre (I still haven't seen the movie) and make it better, right?

Though it's weird that no animation website has done a review of the first few episodes by now.

The villains in this show are awesome! Mark Hamill is playing a creepy character. I swear he's this shows The Lich. His assistant reminds me of Randall.

Just watched the series with my brother, who was curious. Not too bad so far, and surprisingly tight continuity for a very episodic comedy.

With the character "Breakneck", I'm wondering if his character arc will make the show serious later on?

[up]If it's anything like Motorcity, a bit serious, but not too much.

Finally saw some of the series.

It was more or less what I was expecting, and the animation is SPECTACULAR. Unexpected stuff: a few of the human characters making appearances.

Due to watching the episodes a second time so my parents could watch, I noticed a lot of continuinty with Chet's character and the Clamsquatch, which the character has taken two forms, don't know what's up with Whiplash and clam monsters. Mainly that Chet soon got over his fear of heights with keeping the helicopter addition to his shell which helps him save Burn in the episode Ants Ants Revolution and the fact in the episode "Ants, Ants Revolution", his banana eating disorder is brought up again.

So...

Anyone saw the second batch of episodes by now?

I just watched the one where the Snails go to Tokyo and Turbo has to race against a Japanese cricket voiced by Amy Wong.

This show must be really obscure, because every time I come in here, there are rarely any comments about this series. Anyways, I think that this show is good, and the animation is excellent (by Flash animation standards).

[up] Oh yeah, I think they're well done as well. But I guess that's expected from Titmouse, am I right? grin

I saw the first season of Turbo Fast. Overall, I think it is good. I think there were some weak episodes in later half but I did like the season finale (both segments). Also, I like the Mouse World aspect that was apparently added for the series. Yes, I haven't seen the movie and I would like to know what other changes were made from it.

Well this show certainly hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. Just a few posts since it began? Do not enough people have Netflix around here?

It's hilarious and they come up with so many ingenious things to do with a bug-centric talking animal setting. Way more than other such settings that I've seen, and I've seen them all.

Anyone able should catch up on it.

Unfortunately, no word if there'll ever be any more episodes...and the last few of season one felt as if the budget dropped a little. Animation not as expressive and fluid, and they recycled almost every one-shot character they could from earlier in the series...which kind of felt like a rushed farewell.

I tried to get my uncle into it but he wouldn't due to the movie, my father likes it.

It was pretty fun and more memorable than the movie, honestly.
