Princess Maker 2

Hello. It seems that quite a few people online have managed to find an English copy of princess maker 2 online, and I was wondering whether or not the tropers have found one.

It's not that hard, especially if you were looking for it five years ago instead of now. Home of the Underdogs was the go-to place for all the good old games, y'know? And now it's dead and your best bet is generally through various torrent sites =(

You think Piratebay might have a good copy of an English version?

Unfrotunatly it appears as though the one at get your rom has been deleted, and the ones on pirate bay don't seem to work. Any more ideas?

When I tried to download that it said it had an invalid file or something like that. Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this? Or should I find it in another site.

Maybe this will help. Should I open it with bit torrent or just save the file. I've been opening it with bit torent before.

If it's a torrent, you need to open the initial file with bittorrent in order to actually start downloading.

Good luck to you, pal. The game is a real blast to play, if you don't have a problem with some Unfortunate Implications and other rather odd moments. I once played it with a friend on the back-seat. Our catchphrases of the day were 'That did not happen' and 'Let us never speak of this again'.

It's still a lot of fun, though.

Is the Princess Maker 2 the only translated Princess Maker game?

No it didn't work. The torrent program keeps saying that it is invalid. Whenever I actually try to execute the files and play the game it says cannot find a certain text program or something. I'm running a windows computer BTW, so I don't think it is an badly match software but I have no idea.

Its 7.6MB you dont need a torrent and likely your trying to download something that isnt a torrent just download it regularly

I'm sorry but I'm not very tech savy. What do you mean by "download it regularly?" Do you mean once it appears finished on the downloads list try to find the .EXE so you can play?

I assume you got it all in a zip file amiright? The solution is simple You must unzip the game to a folder first then you can play it. If your lacking in the winzip department (basically your not using windows 7) then I suggest you get Winrar or 7-Zip found online via google

^The only solution I can think of is Dos Box and that program can be difficult to use for the unprepared

No it doesn't look like I'll be able to finish. It is addicting but it is harder than I expected. Thanks for the sound tip though, I shall be sure to download it later. :)

Download DOS Box, I presume? you don't need to download the whole game again.

Also, don't worry about the difficulty, everyone screws up the first time around. The first time I managed to finish it ended with a housewife who sucked at her job. And that's not even talking about the three games I started before that one, which I aborted after reaching enormous levels of fail in the first week.

If you need a few pro-tips, I could give you a few. But figuring it out yourself is the most fun part. Besides, as soon as you know what you're doing, the only ending you'll ever get without screwing your daughter up on purpose will be the Hero ending.

Okay, I think there maybe something wrong with my version. It can't seem to get out of the equipment screen. When I tried to equip the summer dress it equiped it but now I can't get out of that screen.

Nevermind, I just left-clicked it and it worked.

Well, it looks as though I just finished my first round. My daughter ended up becoming an artist who's paintings were known throughout the land and she became the most celebrated in history. Although apparently her parenting skills, (and mine) leave a lot to be desired.
