Heh, and I just came out the Minecraft thread.
Anyways, I'd probably get this one if it did play somewhat like Magic, since I've had experience with that game.

"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death itself may die."^No, he'll still be working on Minecraft. This is just a new project that will help put Mojang on the map.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI'm just stoked that Tycho helped with the story. When I read that excerpt from the article, I totally imagined Jerry Holkin's voice reading the summary.
DoodlesO RLY?
I might be interested then, but only if there dickwolves are in it.

Sounds interesting.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Card Game? :>
I love it already.
More games is always good. Means Notch can hire more people, which means more ideas, which means I may get my mauve, rasperry, aquamarine and beige dye!
Troper PageQuick note, from Notch's twitter:
It looks like the game won't be comedy with Tycho. Looks like Tycho will use genre savviness to improve the gameplay. Well, some light Lampshade Hanging will be there, too.
Jonah FalconAnd thus one of the most POINTLESS legal suits has been settled, and Markus gets to call his game "Scrolls" so long as he doesn't make an Elder Scrolls-style RPG.
There isn't a big enough Face Palm for that.
Jonah FalconCorrect me if I'm wrong but wasn't the issue with Scrolls that Notch was filing a trademark for all sorts of things and it theoretically threatened the TES license as a result? At least that was the defence of Bethesda's lawsuit that I'd read somewhere.
But I wouldn't be surprised if it was just Bethesda lawyers/Zenimax going apeshit over nothing.
and Blame U.S. copyright laws for that. If Zenimax/Bethesda didn't file a lawsuit against Mojang because of the similar title, then other companies could use that as a justification for ripping off Elder Scrolls in the future. Zenimax didn't have to win the suit, just file it - in order to show they are willing to defend their copyright in court. Heck, many other companies have done this before - just hidden from the public sphere.
tl;dr Blame the copyright laws for this whole mess. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Always looking for a good MMORPG with a great community...Watched some recently released footage from several personallities. Looks cool.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Anyone mind if I holler for the thread title to be chanced to "Mojang's next game"? Scrolls is Jeb's pet project, Notch was mostly uninvolved.
Probably not
You could just have it changed to "Scrolls."
Total Biscuit recently released a couple of videos showcasing a fair bit of the gameplay. And it looks really good. And I don't even like trading card games.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
Scrolls - from Minecraft to Magic The Gathering, it seems.
