Well, if you look at the image close enough, you can see that his left foot is off the ground, and it shows his arm moving in the punch...

Bottom line - it's alright, but just. A pic of either Ken or Ryu doing the actual move would be much better, preferably from one of the older games so there's not as much glam on the screen.

Not bad, but I'd prefer an actual screenshot from one of the games.

I kinda like the kitty picture. I'd have suggested it myself if no one else did.

I think the kitty picture was actually the previous page picture, and that a previous forum discussion led to it's replacement with the current Deadpool pic. That conversation is long since purged, though.

Kitten picture isn't allowed since it's a demotivator.

There's a lot of nice images so far.

I wasn't aware of a rule (or guideline or somesuch) discouraging demotivators.

I don't suppose we could use just the kitty?

Well, the full demotivator kitty isn't good, but cropping out everything except the cat leaping is acceptable.

That Superboy one is a bit wide, but otherwise pretty good.

The kitten one was previously pulled for being a LOL Cat. The kitten by itself isn't a good depiction of the motion, either (curving the wrong way).

I dunno about the rest of your argument, but what do you mean, "curving the wrong way"? It's still arcing upward.

Agreed; it's doing the same motion, it's just facing the viewer instead of away.

No, I read the line of motion as "upwards and then curving to the side", not "forwards and curving up".

I think that's just being nitpicky. There's a reason someone originally looked at that photo and thought "oh hey, it's a shoryuken".
