Narm is if anything less negative than most YMMV tropes. It lacks the Flame Bait Banner and is used affectionately far more that it's used purely negatively. Being on the Dark Wiki also gives it the impression that it doesn't belong in YMMV which it clearly does/

It lacks the Flame Bait Banner

I'm pretty sure that's a mistake. After all, DarthWiki.Wall Banger is missing the banner.

and is used affectionately far more that it's used purely negatively.

Do you have any evidence for that statement? Most of the examples on its subpages seem to be of the negative type. For example, Narm.Star Wars

There's already a thread about this on Trope Talk, as I recall.

That said, I am inclined to say that I believe this should be YMMV.

The non-negative version is Narm Charm, which you'll notice is not on Darth Wiki.

So are we moving YMMV tropes that sound "negative" to Darth Wiki or something?

How soon can Idiot Plot get there? What's taking it so long to get there? And why hasn't it been moved to Darth Wiki already?

Narm Charm is not just the positive version of this it is something that should be this but isn't.
