Um, oxygen doesn't exist in solid form (you can only get it down to a liquid, and going even lower is in the realm of absolute zero mind-fuckery), so I hope you're not going for that...

Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsOxygen definitely can exist in solid form. Oxygen's melting point is around 54 K, and its boiling point is around 90 K. So liquid nitrogen is cold enough to cause oxygen to become a liquid — I've seen this done in a physics class — and making solid oxygen isn't that much more difficult.
Those sort of temperatures might still be too low for An Ice Person to produce, though. Would it work to just freeze the water vapor inside the Intangible Man's lungs?
Okay, so how does that work? Does Ice Person still attack Intangible Man's through his breath for that? Because I don't see any other way.

Help?.. please...Fridge Logic will crash in wehn your audience begins to ask itself how the guy was breathing in the first place with air being unable to interact with his body.

Actually, Intangible Man's power doesn't have to go either absolutely intangible or normal. He chooses what he phases through.
And as for Enthryn's idea, it's sounding pretty cool to me now. The icy air Intangible Man is breathing freezes the water vapor in his lungs. So how does that sound?
Help?.. please...Couldn't Icy Person just lower the temperature of their environment completely? If you're not worried about the laws of thermodynamics...
There are too many toasters in my chimney! That kind of power takes a hell of a lot more concentration than though. Rather than channeling the ice powers through the wind directed at Intangible Man.

Help?.. please...Not really.
He's not concentrating on anything specific, see. He's just drawing in nearby heat.
There are too many toasters in my chimney!...okay, chemistry fail on my part, my bad.
Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsSo anything else still wrong with my fight scene? The closest thing I could think of is that Intangible Man's lungs will only be half as frozen as any other target due to the fact that he spends (uh yeah) half the times breathing out too. But that's not really counted as a problem much right? Just a hinderance for Ice Person who still succeeds due to his awesome.
Man but it's such a pain coming up with weaknesses for an Intangible Man though. I even had to add in a law that he could only maintain his intangible form for a certain period of time. So that he doesn't become too overpowered for his other fights. But Ice Person just need to finish him quick for this certain fight.
Help?.. please...
An Ice Person fights Intangible Man. Intangible Man can seem to pass through just about any attack Ice Person throws and can attack Ice Person internally. So Ice Person uses Glacier Wind attack, which freezes objects through the atmosphere. Intangible Man took a while to realize that this includes the oxygen he's breathing in which is freezing his lungs. But it's too late now Ice Person uses his power to control ice to break intangible man's lungs from the inside and wins the fight.
Intangible Man seemed to have no weakness since he only really touches what he wants to or needs to. And at most cases he still subconsciously has physical contact with air in order to breathe. So does that fight make much sense? It still feels a bit iffy.
Help?.. please...
