What does that word even mean in that context?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Unhygienic no-lifers that are too self-centered and too wrapped up in self-entitlement issues to be considered a proper demographic to cater to. At least, that's what I assume it means whenever I see the word thrown around.
I think I'll ask this again: Anyone else here been checking out Hellfire Comms' Sonic-a-thon and/or Somecallme Johnny's Sonic Hacking Contest streams?
On my wave, passing oooooooonYes to the HFC streams...but I missed the last 2 weeks of that.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Well fortunately, the streams are being uploaded to HFC's YT channel for those who missed seeing them live.
On my wave, passing oooooooon...and one of those streams...weirdly enough the one I didn't miss, I'm currently watching at this very moment.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Yeah, I was there at the Sonic-a-thon. I was Great Komodin in the chat.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I prefer Sonic's handling to be changeable. That way he can handle appropriately for the speeds you need to reach for the level(s) at hand.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I honestly think his speed was perfect in much earlier games, like Sonic 2/3/Knuckles, and even the Sonic Adventures. Somewhat on Heroes, 06 is definitely not(he's too fast or too slow. No middle ground). I felt it was handled somewhat poorly till Lost World, although I think Black Knight came after 06? If so, he was good in that too speed-wise, imo.
Anyway, while Unleashed started a new trend, the day style gameplay did improve in Colors. I did actually find him a bit better in that game. I can't compare it with Generations(console), though. So he is getting better at being controllable with that particular gameplay style.
I'm waiting to see which direction Sonic Team is going to go in next. I think it's foolish to abandon the Classic Sonic style they had in Generations personally. And I don't know why they dropped the Modern Sonic/Colors style.

As many issues as I have with the Adventure games, I do like how Sonic controlled in them. I still really liked the Boost style a lot, though—gave a good sensation of speed. My personal preference will always be the Genesis style, but hey, they're probably never bringing that back, so whatever. (And it's a shame—Sonic 4 Episode II finally got it right again, but they decided to more or less drop the idea of an Episode III.)
You know, you don't need to mention in every post how much you don't give a crap about the series. We get it, you don't care so much that you just need to shout it from the mountains. Just say you're not really into the series and move on.
That being said, yes, Sonic Team does tend to be a bit schizophrenic in that regard.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Speaking of all things Sonic, apparently one of the Boom developers kind of Raqe Quitted the Internet, except without the rage part.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. The Internet is merciless to the unwary and careless/
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I think I'll watch some of the HFC Sonic-a-thon when I'm done with my Brainscratchcomms marathon. (right now I'm on Spyro the Dragon, and I plan on doing another one after the first one, but modifying it so that I don't watch commentaries of freeware games (Touhouvania, Ib, Sonic the Hedgehog: The Lost Worlds), or remakes of games that they already did (Leaf Green, Sonic Genesis, Wily Wars).
The other issue is that I'm in my junior year of high school right now so watching their SA 2 stream would not be ideal for Monday-Thursday
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!@Yakuza: What happened?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Do you mean for the cartoon or the game?
The Protomen enhanced my life. You know, the more I play Sonic World, the more I like it. I would totally play an official Sonic game in this style since it has a very nice combination of platforming and speed.
All they have to do is fix some of the bizarre glitches (one of which made it almost impossible for me to complete Final Rush as Sonic), and an indicator for the homing attack, and make a few tweaks to things like the launch rings (which are WAY too easy to miss). Well, and add more stages but I'd get the first two things taken care of first.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! There are actually a few extra stages on their site. You need to just the tiniest bit of techincal know-how to get them to work though, they should have instructions in the readmes.
They also posted a couple of videos for the next release.

So Chaos is just... a Knuckles clone? It doesn't make sense on several levels.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Chaos 0 played a bit like Knuckles in the multiplayer of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
Personally I think he should have some attacks based on Werehog attacks.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
Honestly, one of the things that made me love the Werehog concept was that he was basically a playable version of Chaos 0 (and Chaos is one of my favorite underused characters in the series).
Make Chaos like he was in Sonic Battle, OP as f—- but slower than a sloth.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. They don't want to make any character stray too far from Sonic's gameplay style, so they probably won't do that.
Anyway, more Sonic World stuff.
I was joking through hyperbole and sarcasm.
Like, I doubt anyone would ever legitimately want a character who plays like that in a Sonic game. I certainly never would.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
Though the series has always been geared towards getting to the goal as fast as possible, Sonic is, and has always been, a platformer with controls more or less expected from such a genre. Saying that he should control more like a car is missing the whole point of how he is supposed to function.
Also, referring to fans as "neckbeards" is pretty rude. Let's not do that.
