...I don't know the rest of the lyrics.
Lucky bastard, I do. And don't even get me started on Diamond in the Sky or Number One.
I find it interesting that Traveller's Tales was developing two notable Sonic spinoffs from the end of the Genesis era through the Saturn era. Why didn't Sega just outsource a proper 3D Sonic to them when Sonic Team was either too busy or too bitter about engine use?

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I still have one big What Could Have Been sometimes over Sonic -xstream. We could have gotten another Nights with Sonic and friends, possibly new characters, a new love-interest, and if the released music can be beleived a rocking pop/electronic soundtrack.
There would have been no Sonic Adventure. Just try and imagine how the series would have gone down the line if such a cornerstone entry hadn't have been made?
If that happened, we wouldn't have gotten this rockin Award-Bait Song:
Just finished playing Sonic Adventure 2 again. While I don't think it has aged quite as well as I hoped, it is still really solid.
Well, they certainly tried to develop a proper 3D one, but we all kinda know how Xtreme turned out.
Of course, development of that one was so schizophrenic that I have no idea what it was intended to be anymore. A game that played largely in 2D, but with multiple layers you could move in and out of at specific points? A game that played largely in 3D, but with a funky fish-eye lens and the ability to walk up walls and alter the direction of gravity in doing so? A 3D-playing game with the lens without the wall-walking? A 3D-playing game without the lens or the wall-walking? Oddly enough, Xtreme was all those things.
Also, that fisheye lens was pretty cool, and it's a shame no game has tried implementing it since.
Moon◊On one hand, X-Treme did look fun, and if it ended up released in any sort of form, I'd love to play it.
On the other hand, it had a character named Tiara Boobowski.
Boobowski.
"Great Scott! Send in the Doomsday Squad!"Well I always tell myself we did kind of get the walking on walls stuff from Mario Galaxy, which in turn certainly inspired Sonic Colors. But maybe that's a little too far fetched. Either way, I think the most interesting version to me would've been the walk on walls + fisheye lens one.
It's very real, unfortunately. Even had a Professor Boobowski, too (her father). Both got kidnapped by Eggman, and Sonic would have to rescue them.
Question is, why did they bother with a new love interest when Amy already existed? I mean, not like Sonic's really in love with Amy or anything, but really, should he be in love with anyone?
Moon◊Well, the shippers say he should, but I don't get shipping. Never have, probably never will. But that's just me. Personally, given his character, I'd say that it's pretty much that he has no real TIME to cultivate a romance, given he's supposed to be a drifter and such.
That, and the only female that's ever shown any interest in him is Amy. If you were in that kind of situation, you'd probably avoid relationships, too.
I forgot '06 existed when I made this post, Now you reminded me it exists, and now I'm sad.
...Seriously. Boobowski. I can't get over that.
Ha, ha. That's literally the first time I've ever heard that joke, ever.

"Great Scott! Send in the Doomsday Squad!"Hey, at least it wasn't Boobinator.
Nah Elise rememeb-oh yeah, she never happened.
Elise is probably Exhibit A of why Sonic should never fall in love ever.
Moon◊How does anyone forget 06 exists? That was one of the most memorable Sonic games ever for its sheer rushedness. I'd say that the most forgettable Sonic game is Sonic Rivals, since it's just blandly designed and the rivals mechanic doesn't make the game that special either.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. But Rivals has the BEST PLOT EVAR.
Well, Sonic technically did whistle at Lumina Flowlight in Shuffle so take that as you will.
Then again, Amy was a bit out of character as well.
Maybe he was just impressed.
Well, at least it's comforting to know that even canceled Sonic games had some good music.

"i'm like the pimpmaster hustledaddy of all snippy bookshrews" -Dave StriderYou're seven days too late.
i personally can't wait for the 2012 album to come out. From what I've heard on Youtube, it's looking really good.
And you've got to keep that dream alive
