Wasn't her latest appearance up until now in SA2B, immediately after her own game?
Besides, from what I can tell, she's apparently pretty popular in the fandom all around.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI see they haven't updated her model since SA 1.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Well, her artwork looks okay.
That...is...adorable, and that's all I have to say about that.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I stand corrected. That actually looks pretty good.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Tikal has a 100% Distance boost and a 100% animal boost. Considering she's also a fly type that makes her one of the best characters in the game tied with only Rouge.
Okay, so I saw 'Sonic Dream Collections - Eggman's Origin' in the suggestion bar, thought I'd check it out.
I regret everything.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I prefer "My Roommate Sonic".
You made it weird.
I hope this is what you wanted.
The only thing I found disturbing about Dreams Collection was whom was inside Rouge....
The rest of it was just weird in a amusing way. I am still chuckling at the end to My Roommate Sonic.
Well, it was more... exotic... than Sonic 2 Special Edition.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I've never seen actual gameplay of this before.
The part where Sonic, Ray, and Mighty get launched into the air by that geyser... you just don't see stuff like that anymore, without a QTE at least.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Ah, that was back in the days when the Doctor was still using surplus stuff from the Armies and ACME, before he got hold of Meteotech and used it as a source of tech and hardware.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! It's a shame that trackballs are impossible to emulate. At least, that's what Sega says. I have no idea if it's true.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.In hypothesis it should be possible to "fake" trackball input with an analog stick.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Sega Sonic Arcade looks pretty fun.
Theoretically, there has to be a trackball controller someone has developed. I'm sure I've seen it. It can use that.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Wouldn't a touch screen technically be able to mimic a trackball?
Doing swiping motions with an on-screen ball should have the same end result. If the screen/coding can detect swiping speeds in any decent manner.
Potentially. I'm sure there's tons of ways to emulate trackball-ness.
Or, even better, just recode it so that you have normal controls. Probably not worth the effort, sure, but eh.
Anyway, dunno how many of you watch Brain Scratch Commentaries, but they just recently started their Sonic Unleashed commentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT8pbUSkTuU
The issue may be less if the trackball can be replaced, but more would it be as fun.
It's like playing light gun games with just the standard control. Sure it's easier but half the novelty is gone.
I like the Tikal bio mentions nothing about her being the spirit of a tribe girl that sealed herself in the Master Emerald with Chaos for several millennia. I mean, what's Eggman gonna do? Double kill her?

Woo, finally!
I went to their panel at Momocon actually. It was pretty sweet.

Is this a Jo Jo reference? Why did it take them so long to get to this game?
My best guess is that they considered it to be along the lines of So Okay, It's Average, which is the least fun to go over. Anyway, it's just a guess.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.They did Lost World and Boom before this.
I'll give you Lost World, but Boom is certainly not So Okay, It's Average.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.
Tikal appears quite frequently for someone who was a minor oneshot character.
