What puts you in the back of the crowd is the fact that you have no solid research/experience to validate the points you've made to previous users (your Iizuka bringing Shadow back-reason being the biggest blooper. So late to the party that everyone had attended years ago), yet you want to jump into the arguments about it. It's not the fact that you didn't "play them" or have any information, it's the fact that you want to baw among that fault. If you don't have resources, then you're not resourceful enough to go out and make it into an argument with everyone else.
It is obvious that you either lost track of what you were trying to defend or you did not grasp what I was trying to explain to you. And looking at your post more...you still don't get it.

You are on a Trope Website. Heed the summary of his video game where it says that wangst was a key trait for Shadow's characterization up until Shadowthe Hedgehog ended itself. Yet his potential ended here...or more appropriately, 06. You lost wind of me saying this?

This sentence, "The fans seem to enjoy their fanon view of Shadow or "OMG SUCH A SEXY FURRY" more than the canon itself" was referring to those types of fans. Not "every fan and their mama."

I just don't agree with how they've handled my favorite character (hinted in how I said he has potential that they don't utilize). Did you miss this following portion? "OG supporters" - or the respectably intelligent bunch of older age - liked the character for his sacrifice to "fight for love" and the "Anti-Hero struggle, " something that IS emphasized in his current debut as well, so he's still hooked us to him in spite of the profit-whoring of his badassness, which is what I meant by stating that sentence."

Shadow's "Anti-Hero struggle," in more subtle terms to where he can now come to conclusions faster, has still squeezed its way into games like 06 and Sonic Battle before he came to terms with choosing his own destiny. "His shortcomings" that pave into his "finales" had been the critical appeal to him there the same way it was the appeal to him in SA 2. So it's not lost.
...Everywhere else he's an extra, so there's nothing to pull from there.
