...anyway, that's why I was fine going up against vampires. I learned how to use something called the Ripple, which takes energy from the sun. I can use it to effectively beat up vampires and heal others. ...not very effectively since I'm not super experienced in it, but I can to some degree.

well the device reduced itself to ash but it didn't fling shrapnel, the worst thing i got was some soot on my visor.

...yeah, it kinda was. I don't think it feels as bad the more I get used to it, though. I didn't feel it as much when my dad— teacher, did it to me.
