All Along the Watchtower?
Sounds good, but not quite right. I like the idea of putting the watchtower in the title.

I am getting ready to watch Secret Origins and write the first installment. any kind of input(suggestions, criticisms) is welcome.

Since I made this topic to talk about the tv show and not my liveblog, here is a conversation starter: What was your favorite episode? Mine was easily The Enemy Below, Aquaman's first appearance. They showed that they were not playing around when he cut off his own hand to save his infant son. That episode can easily provide the basis for a full length aquaman movie. And don't get me started on Aquaman's theme!
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoI don't remember the name of the episode, but the one where Eiling fought the Badass Normal squad was good.
Also, any episode involving Darkseid and co.
This is still a signature.Wasn't that episode titled "Patriot Act"?

This is still a signature. While I loved every episode he was in, it was around that just after that point that Darkseid's tendency to hijack the plots of every universe, adaptation, and plotline he exists in started to annoy me.
The finale was pretty much the last time I enjoyed his presence somewhere. And yep, it was awesome.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. The finale was made even more awesome by the Word of God (at least, so I heard second-hand) that the reason that Luthor got Darkseid rather than Brainiac is because Talia retained enough presence of mind to grab Darky instead out of sheer spite.
For me, picking a favourite is tough- even the episodes I didn't like as much had enough awesome bits to leave me cheering... and now that I think about it, I'm not sure that the various episodes are distinct enough in my brain to separate them so that I'm able to pick one :/
... although one of my very favourite moments was villain vs. villain, and Luthor's epic gloating over Grodd.
- —>Luthor: "Goodbye, Grodd. It could have gone the other way."
- —>Grodd: "It really could have, couldn't it?"
- —>Luthor: "No, but why speak ill of the dead?" *airlocked*

My favorite episode of JLU varies, but at the moment it is Epilogue, the season 2 finale.

Anyone else think that the Doctor Destiny episode might have initially been written for Scarecrow? I've been starting to notice little bits and pieces of the show that might show where the Bat-Embargo kicked in, but this one especially - though Destiny can do this elsewhere, this one really emphasized victimizing people using their biggest fears, for which Destiny is kind of an interesting choice. Plus, Batman and Batman alone is the one who takes him down, which sent up a flag for me as well.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm not sure, but I think Dr Destiny did that sort of thing in "24 Hours" at one point, before he started making people suicide.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThe whole Cadmus arc is probably the greatest story in western animation.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again. If it wasn't for the stupid conclusion, I'd agree.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).My favorite episode is actually probably a weird one. It's the episode where Amazo returns hunting down Lex Luthor and the entire Justice League has to try to stop him and get royally crushed. Here's why.
In the episode Amazo appears to destroy Oa and of course, the Lanterns are LIVID! At the end they go to confront Amazo and charge him with Oa's destruction. He informs them that he didn't destroy it he just moved it out of his way.
Jon Stewart then asks him to put it back. Admittedly, tersely but polite enough. I think he even said please. That blew me away. Seriously I'd watched the Justice League barrel into problem after problem, episode after episode and like 70% of the problems they have could be solved if someone just started off by saying "We're the Justice League. We're here to help," rather than punching out people. The entire episode, every bit of brute force and some bits of guile fail. Then, the conflict is resolved not by violence, but a polite request. I NEVER thought I'd see that in western animation, let alone a super hero cartoon aimed at kids and it's one of only a handful of episodes that stick with me to this day.
I like that one too, mostly 'cause Lex Luthor saves the world.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.Batman, upon confronting the first iteration of the Secret Society of Supervillains (paraphrase):
Batman:"Oh look, you brought backup. Too bad I didn't think of that."
JLA smash through wall behind him.
Batman (enormous grin on his face) "Oh wait. I did."
Pretty much any episode in the Project Cadmus arc.
Patriot Act - made me mist up a little bit when the Shining Knight just would not give up. "Then I shall die as befits a knight, defending the weak," - what a fantastic character and line.
It annoyed me the General basically ended a Karma Houdini.
The episode where Luthor and The Flash trade minds. This was pure awesome! While Luthor thrashes the JLA using superspeed, Flash tries his best to not get discovered and killed by the Secret Society. And the implied part where he had sex with Tala (and she LOVED it!) was HILARIOUS!
Not quite.
He completely lost the trust of the people. As for his easy acceptance of his own monster hood I wrote a post in the Fridge Brilliance section on just that after watching the ep.
At the very least, I think he knows he won't be convincing anyone that the Justice League is the bigger threat.

One Strip! One Strip!
I Wanted to ask a question on the forum topic for the DCAU Justice League, but when I searched for it, I found out that there isn't a topic on this forum for it, so I had to star one.
Anyways, my question: I am thinking of doing a liveblog of the Justice League tv show, but I cant think of a good name for it, can someone help me?
