Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Interestingly, according to Fast Eddie's interview-article-thing with io9, this is the very first trope on the site. I expect it comes under a historical protection order regarding anything more than redirects.

We aren't changing the name. We are adding redirects.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWe can still add a redirect though. You Are Not Making Me Do That Cut?

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Putting ourselves in the mind of the searcher is kinda tough here — it's abstract and there's a time transition in the trope.
Thinking in sets of keywords, shorter versions catch more search variations.

I Am Not Doing This I Am Not Doing This I Can Not Believe I Am Doing This
Rhymes with "Protracted."Not Doing That Cut I think is the better of the current suggestions.
How about the "not gonna cut"? Or just "not gonna"?
In honor of the page quote, I recommend F Troop Cut.
Not Gonna Happen?
It portrays the sentiment of the trope, at least the sentiment of the line just before the cut.
Have you ever dance with the devil by the pale moon light?^Sounds like dialog.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI'm not sure that the slangy "gonna" is something that people are likely to search for. If I only vaguely remembered the search term, I think I'd more likely try "going to". But I'm not really sure.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Refusal Cut? or {{Refusal/Action Cut}}

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Then we'd run into the same problem.
I was actually looking this one up a few months back under Doodle Lee Doop Cut, the onomatopoetic title I was thinking of until I realized it was the Gilligan Cut.
Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that?
This trope has good wiks, and good inbounds, but it's currently very hard to find if you don't know what it's called. It needs some searchable redirects. Any ideas?
