Quite a few songs by Ke$ha. I really don't like the whole 'party girl' thing she's got going on, but damn it if her songs aren't catchy.

I think most of her songs are really stupid, but I like "Blow."

"Shut Up And Drive" by Rihanna

"Tik Tok" by Ke$ha

And dear god do I hate them both.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.

Anything about the Eurovision Song Contest...now, I'm gonna make a fool out of myself and say that some of the songs (about 10%) are actually nice pop tunes and the contest is not as weird as it used to be in a world where Lady Gaga or Katy Perry are top charting artists...

...And thanks to the contest, I discovered REALLY good artists like Lovebugs, Patricia Kaas, Gerard Lenorman, Mummiy Troll, Dino Merlin among many others...

I have an entire guilty pleasure album.

Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. I will die with the belief that it is one of the best pop albums ever made. I just, er, won't admit it to anybody.

I probably listen to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls considerably more than the average adult male.

AC/DC is my guilty unpleasure. Everyone rants about how much they kick ass, but I find them horrible!

And I like Rick Ashley's "Never Gonna Give You Up".

Although I firmly believe U2 are not a guilty pleasure, because people hate on them so much, I guess they might as well be.

[up][up][up] I have 71 songs by Britney Spears on my iPod. Although that many transcends guilty pleasure...

Our music taste is equally gay. evil grin

Peter Cetera-era Chicago.

Their early era is not a guilty pleasure by any means. I haven't met a person who doesn't like "25 or 6 to 4."

Dolly Parton, Reba Mc Entire and a few Country Music Songs. For the most part I despise the genre, but there are a few that I can't hate...

[up][up][up]I met two people who didn't like the song because the riff rips off a Led Zeppelin song (which I can't remember the name of right now, but it's the same one that Green Day's "Brain Stew" cribs as well).

Of course, I still like that song, just as I love The Beach Boys' "Surfin' U.S.A." even though it's a blatant ripoff of Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen".

[up]If you're referring to the era of cheesy power ballads, well, ask anyone who's ever played Elite Beat Agents if they like the song "You're the Inspiration". tongue

"Communication Breakdown"? It's the only Zeppelin song I can think of that had that riff and would have been out before "25 Or 6 To 4".

Of course, it could just as easily be a rip-off of "Gimme Some Lovin'" by the Spencer Davis Group.

If you're referring to the era of cheesy power ballads, well, ask anyone who's ever played Elite Beat Agents if they like the song "You're the Inspiration".

I've not played that game myself.

Broke NCYDE aren't as bad as everyone says.

I'd take them over lots of bands any day of the week.

Ever since last week:

Damn you, Yellowjackets! Why must you be so good?

And, well, I like metal and some electronic music, which is pretty bad if you're a jazz kid.

Actually, to me the heavier section of "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" is a lot closer to "25 or 6 to 4" and "Brain Stew" than "Communication Breakdown" is. Led Zeppelin Covered Up that song from Ann Bredon *

to begin with, but that part of it wasn't in the original.
