Then, why do I have "QWERTZUIOP" and "YXCVBNM" on my keyboard instead? Are these just German translations of the respective names?

where does the Dvorak layout figure in this? Germany uses a layout called QWERTZ and France uses AZERTY, although QWERTY is used in a lot of countries.
