It's about time this story arc really picked up! I was waiting for all these schoolboy theatrics to go somewhere. On top of that, the Undertaker returns. I wondered how they were going to keep it interesting after the last arc. Keep it coming!
At first I thought the reveal about Derrick was a rehash of that boy Ciel defrauded earlier on and thought his punishment was pretty light by comparison. Then, I realized that he wasn't beating people up with his cronies and conspiring with the vice principal. That doesn't makes what the prefects did okay but I guess the individual circumstances make the whole thing a little less repetitive. I was also surprised to see the P4 so close.

Ironic, really, the story arc finally picks up and then it concludes. Ah well, least we're finally out of that mystery. In reflection, I think some elements could've worked and I can see the concept they went in with, but the execution simply wasn't the best. Mainly just with that extended tournament.
Anyway, it seems The Queen is up to a little something now...
And yes, my girlfriend can finally read this arc! I'm still curious how this would look to someone who reads arcs in full instead of piece by piece.

Improving as an author, one video at a time. Now that this arc is ~finally~ over (and it was a satisfactory ending), I've got to read the arc again from start to finish.
I liked Ciel in this...it was a nice detail how he saved the rival buttface girly boy fag. And how he sort of consoled Edward. However, poor Mac Millian, we will never see him again because Ciel has no friends (except Agni). And Sebastian was one hell of a butler.
@ Queen Victoria: No. Just no. Don't do it. LET THE ZOMBIE SUBPLOT DIE.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Mac Millan will pop up every once in a while to add on to Agni's role as the freaking annoying "friend".
So, new chapter in the werewolf arc... Pffft. Sullivan's response to being in a room with Sebastian and Ciel was unexpected and completely hilarious.
Wow, this werewolf arc is amazing.
Sebastian and Ciel have been cursed! How will they get out of this pickle!?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I just caught up, but this arc keeps getting better and better...poor Ciel though. Woobier than ever... I wonder if he's seeing someone's memories, and if that has to do with the werewolf's curse? I can't see a point in the timeline when that could have happened to Ciel himself...right?
When Sebastian and Sullivan had to save Ciel...I think Sebastian really does care in his own way. In his own way. And that really is a large pot.
Look at this Sullivan and a bit of Finny character development...Sullivan is a really, really good character and I've always loved Finny.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Season 3's coming — I don't know how they plan to retcon the travesty of a second season AND the accepable Gecko Ending of season 1, but it's finally getting back to adapting the manga.

No effing way...
The manga is superb, but it would be more interesting if they would carry on with the demon! Ciel thing they set up. Will it be faithful to the manga except "by the way, Ciel is immortal now; this changes nothing..."?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I don't think so, since at the end of season 2 everyone's sent a letter that Ciel is effectively dead.
I wouldn't be surprised if they just went on like nothing happened.
i. hear. a. sound.But...I like demon brat Ciel.
And I know season 2 was a bunch of crazy fuckery, but it was fun though.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Getting back to the newest chapter, I'm enjoying this current arc thus far as it feels that it's really gotten back to the more supernatural side of the series I enjoy.
Also, glad it's difficult on Sebastian again here regarding Ciel's current state and what to do regarding his orders.

Improving as an author, one video at a time. After seeing the latest chapter, I'm glad we get a somewhat nightmarish reminder that Sebastian is a demon who wants to eat Ciel's soul.
Well, that's one way to snap Ciel out of it I suppose.
Dangit, I really need to catch up now.
i. hear. a. sound. It was soooo short and they just left it off like that!?!?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.So it looks like the new anime is going to be all circus arc.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 1: Still more like the anime than the manga. Kind of cool, but basically filler to set the pace and allow newcomers to the franchise to watch it. And it was pretty. Next episode the circus begins where we can be re-acquainted with all our friends. It should be awesome.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.FINALLY caught up with the manga. That was definitely worth it.
I was super proud of myself for knowing what chemicals were being referenced in the last chapter without looking them up.
i. hear. a. sound.Book of Circus episode 4: This is still the most violent shounen anime. And sad.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I keep forgetting this is technically shonen with the 13-and-up female fanbase it has.

Alright, Ciel's plan for the escape in the newest chapter was legitimately good and I give him props for the lengths he went for it.

Good chapter this month...Exposition! Motives! Tradition! Yep.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
