that would be would be awesome
fry and laurie for Aziraphale and Crowley respectively could work
Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probablyIs that indicated anywhere?
Clearly as long as the creators have the reigns and I don't know why they should part with them this can only end in AWESOME! Both know what they're doing for sure.
I think faradayangel was just wishful thinking.

yeah just wishful thinking on my part
Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probablyYES! First a TV series based on A Song of Ice and Fire and now this? Why, it's almost enough to make a man believe in miracles.
Hopefully it'll be a great adaption. Out of the eariler ones I certainly hope that it's more along the lines of Hogfather than the Going Postal adaption in terms of quality. Though with the fact that it's a 4-part series I guess it'll be a little different from those earlier adaptions. Regardless, here is to hoping that it will be awesome and live up to it's, and this is redundant I know, awesome source material.

A series? I loved the book but not sure if there's enough material there for a series. A movie or miniseries though yes, that I would love to see.
Trump delenda estit's a shame Terry Gilliam never got to make his movie of the book
but seeing as it's Gilliam that's to be expected, I don't think I'll ever find out who killed Don Quixote
Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probablyIt was Sancho in the library with the knife.
Edit- And this news is awesome. Wonder if that means that American Gods and/or Anansi Boys will get film treatment too.

Hodordamn you Sancho
Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probablyThat sounds like the plot to a Thursday Next book.
@tricksterson - It's not going to be a full series, it's said to be a four parter.
That sound like the right amount of time for Good Omens, as the problem I've seen with making it a movie is that you would loose too, many of the subplots and character moments that make the book work so well.
I seem to lean towards miniseries adaptations over films now too for that very reason. Also it's got to the stage where so many decent effects are available for cheep you don't really need a movie to get the right quaility.
Pity it's not one of Gaiman's other works. That's the only work of his I didn't care for. Probably because I don't care for Pratchet's humor.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.[insert obligatory cry of "BLASPHEMY" here]
Pretty sure that someone, somewhere is working on a Sandman tv-series, so we'll probably see more of Gaiman. As for Good Omens, just one, short word is enough: "Yes!"
This was probably the least favorite thing I've read Neil Gaiman had involvement in. That being said I wish it was Sandman.
Fractured, my Harry Potter Fic: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6655978/1/FracturedI liked it, I just think it would make a far better movie than series.
Trump delenda estDoubt it, way too much material for a movie.
I loved that book, so this is great news.
Except for 4/1/2011. That day lingers in my memory like...metaphor here...I should go.Oh god yes. My favourite novel of all time is getting a miniseries! I approve- miniseries allow for much longer and more detailed stories than theatrical films, while at the same time being free from the ratings-slavery that regular TV series are subject to. So, we'll get all of our Good Omens-y goodness, with minimal cuts. FUCK YEAH.
