Without looking up, Luke raises his hand weakly.
Luke: <Five more minutes...>
With a sight, Lake shakes his head.
Lake: <If this were a battle, you would have beaten twice over by now.>

RM: -watching Lake and Luke- <Whoa... where did you learn that?>

Lake: <Yeah. He's actually done well for his first go. He...just needs to work on his stamina a little.>
Okay, that was an understatement. However, finally feeling better, Luke managed to pull himself up, even if he was still panting.
Luke: <Okay...Okay, I'm good. So...>
He tilts his head curiously.
<What do I do now? Nobody can get me, but I don't think I can get anymon else, either...>
RM: <Uhhhh... Where on earth did you learn that? Years of practice? Eating the soap? I wanna make one of those!>
Luke: <...Eating soap?> ._.
Lake: <You know the legendary Pokémon Suicune? The one from Oblivia taught me how to do it. And I think it's only something water Pokémon can do. Sorry.>

They head through the only door left.

Saying nothing, Lake moves behind Luke and nudges his bubble, rolling it forwards a little.

Hard Boiled Detective Since 1985
With a sigh, Luke slowly rolls his bubble forward by walking very carefully, afraid of tripping up or sending him rolling down some uneven terrain or something equally disastrous.
Luke: <I'm failing to see the advantages here. Sure, I'm pretty safe and it's kinda' nice in here, but I feel like a sitting Ducklett right now! And just how am I supposed to fight back if I'm stuck in here?>
Lake: <Ah, there's a trick to that. You see, this bubble you made is tied to your Aura...>
Luke pauses, giving Lake a confused look.
Luke: <Aura?>
Lake: <You know, your life force. What Lucario and Mienshao use to fight and sense stuff.>
Luke: <I know what Aura is...but how does it work here?>
Lake: <Ah, since it's ties to your Aura, you can decide who you want in there with you or not.>
Luke: <Huh...really?>
Lake nods.
Lake: <Observe...>
Dropping to all fours, Lake runs over and jumps into Luke's bubble, giving him a shock.
Luke: <Hey! There's not enough room in here for both of us!>
Lake: <Ah, but you obviously wanted me in here since I was able to get in! If you hadn't, I would have just bounced off harmlessly.>
Luke: <Oh...so, it's sorta' a subconscious thing?>
Lake: <Yeah, I guess so. But it's pretty cool, isn't it?>
Luke: <Huh...it is, actually...>

Moonlight Mansion
They head down a few ladders in this next room, which leads to s hallway with... what appears to be a box with a bomb drawn on it. AU!Skye taps the box...
...And it explodes, destroying the wall.
AU!Skye: <Note to self, try not to get hurt by boxes with bombs on them. The bombs do not lie.>
They go through the crack, and past a whole bunch of things that were trying to kill them. At the end of the corridor, there's yet another door.
They go through, just like with all previous doors.
Next room: Even more bomb-box-things.
They blow up the first two, and notice the floor's looking pretty weak where they blew up.
AU!Eskay A: <...Let's try not to do any more damage to this place than we have to...>
They bypass the third bomb block, and head down a set of stairs. Behind the staircase, they notice a corridor that probably would've been blocked off by debris had they blown up the third block.
AU!Eskay A: <...You go that way. Me and Skye will continue on the main path.>
AU!Eskay 1: <Sounds good, although I was gonna ask you to. I'll go, though.>
He does so. At the end of the corridor was a door. He goes through it.
Meanwhile, AU!Skye and AU!Eskay A head the other way, fighting off a Bisharp that was not Cass. They then break down a wall of bricks that was blocking another door.
Rosemary tries again, reinforced with Light Screen.

-And the forms of a number of creatures up ahead, vocalizing in a tone that would be slightly off from a normal Kecleon, start to become apparent-
<Pepper: "Start looking for a place to put that radio. I have a bad feeling about this...">

Lake: <Try sticking your hand outside. Go on.>
Luke: <Okay...>
Tentatively, Luke pushes his hand against his bubble, and is surprised to see it push through the surface to the outside.
<Oh! Oh wow...That's pretty slick...>
Lake: <I know, right?>
Luke: <So that mean I could...>
In one swift movement, Luke sticks his head out, bites the air a few times with his jaws, before pulling himself back in to avoid an imaginary counter-attack.
<Ooh, I get how this works now!>
He can't help but chuckle to himself.
<I feel almost...untouchable! Oh yeah, I like that...>
Lake: <Don't get cocky, it's not indestructible, you know.>
Luke: <I know, I know. But if I avoid Grass and Electric types, like I would anyway, I'll be fine, right?>
Lake: <Well, yeah...but I'm pretty sure there are a whole lot of other things that can get you if you're not careful. Like sharp objects, for one.>
RM: <Stand back everyone, things are gonna happen!>
Rosemary takes a large ammount of water, and with the height of her power, envelopes it around her. She pants.
RM: <Woooooot...>

Skye takes a step back despite not being anywhere near Luke's bubble.
Myra taps Rosemary's bubble with her arm. Reminder, said arm is made of electricity.

Lake: <Well, sharp objects, for start. Really, you're bubble is better at taking blunt hits than sharp ones.>
Luke: <Oh, so I guess I've gotta' watch out for Spikes, Pin Missie, Spike Cannon, Icicle Spear, Needle Arm, Drill Peck, Rough Skin, Iron Barbs...>
He trails off, giving Lake a skeptical look.
<...I'm once again doubting if this is actually going to be useful.>
Lake frowns, crossing his arms.
Lake: <Oh, it seems that you've forgotten the time I used Bubble Shield to save us from getting incarcerated, I see...>
Luke: <A fat lot of good it would have done had PEFEDoS had dropped something sharp on us. Then what?>

A certain pair of Feraligatr have awoken early, Lake wanting to make good on his promise on teaching Luke how to use Bubble Shield.
Lake: <I've forgotten just how many times I've done this now. It feels like I've taught all the Water type Pokémon in our group this move.>
Luke nods as he pulls a bunch of Sitrus Berries out of Lake's bag, storing them in his hammerspace pocket. If he was going to be spending his HP practicing this move, he was going to want to refill them easily.
Luke: <Look at it this way: once you've taught me how to do this, I can show other peoplemons how to do it, like a Move Tutor!>
He pauses, an odd thought have occurred to him.
<...Is this how Move Tutors learn how to teach Pokémon moves? By turning into Pokémon and learning how tp preform them themselves?>
Lake: <Er...>
Lake simply blinks, a blank look crossing his face.
<That sound a bit far-fetched if you ask me. Anyway, are you ready to do this?>
Luke replies with a somewhat nervous nod.
Luke: <It really doesn't hurt that much...does it?>
Lake gives him a shrug.
Lake: <I dunno. I guess I'm just used to getting hurt since I battle a lot, so it doesn't bother me. You haven't been in many battles, so I guess you're not used to it yet.>
Luke: <Oh...>
Lake: <Let's put it this way: It'll hurt less than taking some attacks. Does that help?>
Luke: <Well...I'd rather take less pain than more pain.>
Lake: <Yeah, that's a good way of putting it. Alright, now the first thing you need to do is spar some water into your mouth and slosh it around a bit.>
Luke: <Oh, like when I rinse my mouth out when brushing my teeth?>
Lake nods an affirmative.
Lake: <Yeah, just like that!>
Luke: <Okay then...>
Luke shuts his jaws, then fills it with water from his internal water bladder, beginning to slosh it around throughly for the next few seconds.
Lake: <Okay, next...ooh, what's the best way to put this...have you ever blown a bubble with bubblegum?>
Surprisingly, Luke shakes his head.
<Oh, what? You've never been able to do that?>
The Feraligatr gives him an annoyed look, as if to say "Hey, it's hard!"
<Alright, alright! I'm just saying that it seems kinda' similar to that. Anyway, you're gonna' need a lot of air for this, so I suggest that you take a few deep breaths. In and out, in and out, you know, like those deep breathing exercises.>
Luke nods, then opens his jaws (trying not to dribble the now soapy water in his mouth everywhere), and takes a few deep lung-fulls of breath.
<Okay, obviously the hard part is next. What you've gotta do is blow as hard as you can. Like...like blowing up a balloon. You've done that, surely?>
Rather tellingly, Luke looks away awkwardly.
<Seriously? Maybe that's what we should be practicing here.>
He looks back, shooting Lake an annoyed glare.
<Eh, I guess we could just consider this a life lesson. It'll help you even when you're a human again! Anyway, enough joking around, give it a go. Take another deep breath, but this time, puff as hard as you can.>
Steeling himself, Luke does as instructed and blows as hard as he can, exhaling a rather large bubble out of his mouth.
<That's it, keep going! When you think it's large enough, hop inside of it.>
Luke nods, then adds a few more puffs of large air, making the bubble large enough to fit inside of comfortably, before spitting it off his mouth and jumping into it. That done, he takes a few moments to catch his breath, panting heavily.
Luke: <By Ho-oh...that was...rough...>
Lake: <It is exhausting, but hey! You made a pretty nice bubble there! Congrats!>
Luke: <Phew...thanks...>
Dropping to his feet, the Feraligatr lies down on the floor.
<I'm just...going to rest...for a few minutes now...Whew...>
