Haar: Huh? Sure.

Hatchet: Well, I tried to prank this Nido here by kidnapping her "princess," but then they got rescued by these other guys, and now...

Hatchet: You have no idea... -Dope Slaps Haar.-

Haar: What? Sorry about that...

Hatchet: Look, we need you to help us find a Elekid and Riolu named Amp and Eowyn, respectively. Can you fly around, looking for them?

Haar: Hmmm... eh, I guess so. Come on, partner. We've got some kids to find.

-he hops back on the Hydregion and flies off-

Rhyme: OK, your dad is pretty cool.

Bluescale Swamp - PMD-B

Dew: <Well, here we are. What do you think?>

On first impressions, Bluescale was what Lake would imagine Treasure Town would be like if it was built in a swamp, and most of the Pokémon that lived there were either Feraligatr or Salamence.

Unlike Treasure Town, which mostly consisted of tents, Bluescale seemed to be much more permanent. All of the buildings were built on wooden platforms standing on stilts several feet above the water, all connected to a long board-walk that served as "Streets" of sorts, presumably for Pokémon that didn't want to trudge through swamp water.

He also couldn't help but notice that each building had two entrances: A standard door, and a ladder reaching down from the underside of the wooden platform it was built on into the waters below. At first, he wondered what purpose they served, until he noticed a fellow Feraligatr swim up to a ladder, before climbing up it to enter what appeared to be shop of sorts.

Species-wise, most of the Pokémon Lake could see milling about were either members of the Totodile or Salamence line, however, there were various others as well, most of them sticking to the boardwalks.

Amongst them, Lake spotted a few Mareep and Flaaffy being herded by and Ampharos, a Charizard that looked rather uncomfortable in the damp conditions, A Dragonite that seemed to be eying a stall of freshly caught fish Pokémon hungrily, a group of Nidorino and Rina being ordered around by who he assumed to be their senior officer...what were they called? Lake couldn't really remember how they were organized.

All in all...

Lake: <Wow...this is awesome!>

Dew beams back at the Feraligatr, nodding in agreement.

Dew: <I know, right?>

Sky: <Yeah, Bluescale's a pretty awesome place to live if you're a Feraligatr or a Salamence.>

Lake nodded in agreement.

Lake: <It's a shame my mate isn't here to see this...>

Dew: <Oh? You have a mate?>

Lake: <Yeah, her name's Nadia, and she's a Salamence.>

Dew and Sky blink, then shoot each other a glance.

Sky: <He has a mate named Nadia, too?>

Dew: <It's gotta' be a coincidence...right?>

Lake: <Hey, what's up?>

The two turn back to Lake, giving him a smile.

Dew: <Nothing! Nothing. Come on, me and Sky will show you around.>

Sky: <What?! Dew, we were only supposed to be showing him here! Not giving him the grand tour!>

Dew responds with a stern look.

Dew: <But he doesn't know where anything is, do you?>

Lake: <Well...no. No I don't.>

Dew: <So it's only polite that we show you around, right, Sky?>

Sky rolls his eyes, turning away from the Croconaw.

<Right, Sky?>

The Shelgon manages to hold firm...for all of two seconds before breathing a heavy sigh, giving Dew a defeated look.

Sky: <Right...>

Dew nods, then leads off. Before following her, Lake leans down to whisper quietly to Sky.

Lake: <Is she always that bossy?>

Shelgon: <Only all the time.>

Lake: <Ah.>

Lake grins, then pats Sky's shell gently.

<It's okay, Croconaw are assertive like that. With any luck, she'll grow out of it when she evolves.>

Sky gives Lake a blank stare.

Sky: <Wow, another evolution I'll have to wait for. Yay.>

Dew: <Hey!>

Lake and Sky look up to see Dew waiting a few feet ahead, tapping her foot impatiently.

<Come on, Slowpokes! We don't have all day.>

Sky: <Okay, okay we're coming! Sheesh, hold your Pontya already...>

Starcutter

Every: <Oh, good.>

<So where to? ^_^>

Lor Starcutter

Sunny: <Hey! Remember what Magolor said? We have to go north from here to reach Cookie Country!>

<Yeah, that. I suggest we start walking.>

Near Mezzo

Monty: Now MARCH!

-after a short walk, Mezzo, Breeze, and Monty's groups have arrived at a grassy plain-

<I guess this must be the place. Now, where do we start...?>

Swindle: (looking at the outlaw board) <... I bet I could steal all of these thieves.>

(to Swindle) <Hey, didn't I tell you not to cause any trouble?>

Swindle: <Fine, I won't steal anyone, or anything. For now, at least.>

<Yeah, this looks very familiar.>

Jab: <Woohoo!> -sprints forwards, Brick Breaking the nearest Jigglypuff-

Every: <Eep!> -curls up-
