Gilgamesh: You losers are going DOWN!

Xu: Time for some POETIC JUSTICE!

- Gilgamesh uses Stone Edge on one mecha, while Xu uses Acrobatics on the other. -

Rotom Mechas: Arrrrgh! -Explode-

Xu: Alright, let's help the others!

- They go to help Umbra and his team fight the Rotom swarms. -

Under Mt. Pyre

Sirius: -Uses Odor Sleuth on a Rotom so that he can hit it with a Return after using Crunch-

Xatu: -Uses Telekineses to slam one mecha with another- <I foresee much pain in your futures.>

Nudi: -Uses Waterfall to launch himself unto a mecha and then make it wet- <Forecaster, now!>

Rotom Mecha: <Targeting computer obstructed!>

Forecaster: -Strikes the mecha Nudi's on with a Thunder-

When two disparate paths intertwine...

Reuniclus: <Come on guys, we're almost the-Wait a moment, I'm sensing three presences, and one of them's really familiar...>

Slowking: <Oh, you mean the Golurk.>

Reuniclus: <Huh?>

-Muddy, Roc, and Sentinel round the corner-

Sentinel: <Oh, it's you guys, and you have a new member.>

Larvitar: -To Sentinel- <Who are you?>

Muddy: <Sentinel, you know these mons?>

Reuniclus: <You all belong to that one trainer we've been following, his Aura's all over you.>

Sentinel: <Yeah. I think I told them about the PEFE too.>

Muddy: -To Reuniclus- <You've been following Tagg?>

Reuniclus: <Yes. For science, of course.>

Slowking: <Er, shouldn't we be moving forward, there's a battle going on up ahead.>

-To Reuniclus-

<And we can look over those mechs.>

Reuniclus: <Awesome!>

-The sextet makes its way further inside-

Mauville Power Plant ("Underground")

Some Pokémon enter the underground facility; while they mostly meet already fainted Pokémon, signifying Casval's previous intervention in the corridors, the SWAT team soon met harsher opposition in the form of some high-level minions who had shortly ago entered the place and were frantically defending it by wielding attacks of Fire, Ice, Lightning.

Silent and some operatives await near the entrance hearing the sound of frantic battle inside.

SWAT Leader -via radio: "...What is going on there?"

SWAT Operative #1: "...Oh noes! Electrodes at 4 o'clock!" — calls back his Pokémon.

SWAT Operative #2: "...Back off! Back off! To the- aaaah!" — sees his Bellossom be smashed against a wall by an Infernape before he can react.

Suddenly, two large explosions cover the corridor, taking out the two Electrodes and part of the SWAT Team including one of the human operators. Then some Golbats and Muks appear to start using poison gas and supersonic attacks against the rest of the forces and the rest of the group is held back by Thunderbolts and Seed Machine Gun fire.

SWAT Leader -on the intercomm to the base: "...Damn it Chloe! We need the schematics of the power plant NOW!"

Silent holds the Moon Ball tightly and checks his watch, wondering if his friends are facing too much trouble at Mt. Pyre.

Vyvyan hovers down to Sierra's side.

Vyvyan: I wonder if they are okay in there... And if I should send down Bridget for extra support...

Under Mt Pyre

Fool sends out two more Pokemon.

Fool: Lenore! Use Draco Meteor on that thing!

^Lenore^: ^Okay! ^_^ ^

Lenore creates a giant ball of Dragon Energy and fires the shards at high velocity at the Mecha.

Fool: Michelle! Follow up with Grass Knot!

Michelle: <No sweat!>

Michelle uses some basic Florokenisis to attempt to "Trip" the Mecha.

Fool: As of yet unnamed Charmander!    USE FIRE BLAST!   

Charmander: <   As you Wish!   >

The small Charmander fires fire at the Mecha.

Mt Pyre - Interior

After getting lost a few times (and nearly failing to resist the temptation to raid the fridge in the break room), our Dragonite portagonist eventually comes across the scene of the battle. Upon seeing this, he jumps in shock, then presses himself up against the wall to avoid being spotted by any of the horde of Rotom.

Stratus — <Eep!> Peers out. <Look at all those Rotom! I'd better be careful. Especially of the ones that are possessing fridges...>

The Dragonite shivers at the thought of being struck by a Blizzard. Steeling himself, he then flies out from against the wall and opens his mouth wide, a ball of Draconic energy forming in his gaping jaws...

Stratus — <Fus! ROH! DAH!>

He launches the sphere, the energy ball striking a nearby Mow Rotom, knocking it out, but alerting some of the others to his presence.

Fan Rotom — <Get the Dragonite!>

Stratus — <UH-OH!>

Knowing when to fight and when to run, the Dragonite flaps his wings and takes to the air, pursued by several Rotom.

<WHY DIDN'T I BRING THE OTHERS WITH ME?!> >_<

Charybdis: -snatches the phone with a head-hand-

Charyb? Is that you?

Charybdis: <Hmph.>

I'll take that as a yes. Are you all right?

Charybdis: <Where are you?>

We're in Mossdeep. Where are you?

Charybdis: <On a boat. Your pitiful friend found me.>

On a boat. Great. Any idea where it's headed?

Charybdis: <Why would I care?>

And this had to be the one mon I could surf on...

Okay, look. I guess you will have to stay with Rex for now.

Charybdis: <What?! How dare you?>

Can I talk to Rex?

Charybdis: <The human is not here.>

Figures... Okay, can I talk to Marryl or someone?

Abel: Hey, it's Stratus!

Reynard: That Dragonite the Ampharos was looking for?

Abel: Yeah!

Reynard: I think I owe him some help...

Abel: Me too!

- They launch Hidden Power Ice and Night Daze at Stratus' pursuers. -

- Tulip uses a Quiver Dance powered Energy Ball to knock over one of the mechas -

Tulip: <Take that, yes!>

- My other Pokémon continue doing pretty much the same things they were doing earlier, although Mira has started attacking more instead of just defending -

Sierra: Hey, Rayquaza? (takes out the Jade Orb) Found this on the ground after someone dropped it. This is what I think it is, right?

Marryl reaches up to accept the phone back.

As for Rex and Zap a swim after a meal was not the best of ideas. After nearly drowning they lay cramped up on deck. Vaitar sat on the deck cross-legged, fanning them wit ha paperfan so they could relax.

"Boss adventure." She punched her fist to Zap's, the pair agreeing.

Melody's House, past

Rex: Yay! I'm sure you'll make a great trainer...again! And thanks for the pie!

Rex's House

Faith: Awww, aren't you just adorable? *thinks to herself* I wonder why Rex doesn't seem to catch any birds of his own...aside from Alfonse, anyway.

Lyra: *wanders in with Reed* Okay, I'll take you to the DMV tomorrow...but you're still too small to drive a car.

Joe: *carrying the Lanturn for Wishbone*

Veilstone Gym

Rex: *straining to move the punching bags around* Grrrr! I need to work out more! >_<

Mt Pyre - Interior

Fan Rotom — Struck by Hidden Power. <ARGH! IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!> @_@ Faints.

Frost Rotom — Hit with Night Daze. <OW! YOU'RE PAYING FOR MY REPAIR BILL!> Also faints.

His pursuers gone, the Dragonite U-turns and lands next to Abel and Reynard, breathing a sigh of relief.

Stratus — <Thanks, you guys! Let me see if I can return the favor...>

The Dragonite's antennae begin to glow, before flashing brightly, covering him, Abel and Reynard in protective shielding.

<That should stop them from trying anything nasty, at least.>

Mt. Pyre - Exterior

Rayquaza — Blinks at the Jade Orb. <What?! You found that just lying on the ground?! Do you have any idea just how important that is?>

Sierra: So, it is the Jade Orb... (looks over at Vyvyan) Like I said, I found it earlier. It appears one of the trainers dropped it. Not sure what he was doing with it, though. I'm guessing he might've been trying to keep it safe, or something.

Inside

Stratus — <I came here with Rayquaza to help him investigate the weird weather coming from here! Although, we're kinda' in over our heads now...> Rubs the back of his head.

Heat Rotom — Flies over, grinning menacingly. <Dinner's ready!>

Stratus jumps, then swings his tail through the air, collecting moisture and forming an Aqua Tail, then swinging it at the Rotom.

Stratus — <SORRY! I'm not hungry!>

Heat Rotom — <ARGH!> Is knocked back and hits a wall, fainting. <Thank goodness I'm insured...>

Stratus — Sighs. <Never thought I would say that...>

Outside

Rayquaza — <Well, whoever found it doesn't matter. You should give it to me for safekeeping. And I'm seriously beginning to lose trust in you humans.>

Sierra: Well, if it is yours, I suppose I should return it to it's rightful owner...

Vulpix: (rubbing up against Sierra's leg) <I'm worried. Is my old home going to be destroyed?>

Sierra: Aww, of course not! (pets Vulpix) We'll never let that happen!

Vulpix: (calms down a bit)

Sierra: (thinking, unbeknownst to her, the Jade Orb transmits her thoughts to the two Rayquaza) I'm really grateful that I'm capable of being near Pokémon without being attacked for no real reason ever since I got the ability to understand them... or maybe they just like me better now because I smell like a Vulpix or something. (shrugs) Well, either way, at least I've made a lot of new friends in these last couple of months.

Rayquaza — Blinks. <Since when could it do that?> Faceclaws. <Argh, and I'm suppose to know about these things.> Shakes his head. <...If you don't mind me asking...how did'' you agin the ability to comprehend our speech? It's not often that you meet a human that knows our tongue.>

Mossdeep City

Marryl? Can you go find Rex for me? I need to talk to her.

Gaia: -Buffs with Rock Polish and uses the increased speed to run over and use her body to toss a mecha head over heels- <Take that!>

-Three mechs and a Frost Rotom manage to get over to Artemia, myself, and Tropius while my other mons are preoccupied-

Frost Rotom: <I think you and your mons need to chill out.>

-Prepares to freeze us while the mecha move to smash us-

Darn it, gotta Detect out of this.

-Notices my feet have been frozen to the ground-

Shit.

Helios: -Notices the Rotom surrounding us- <Oh no you don't!>

-Flies at full speed towards the Rotom to try to make it in time-

Vyvyan smiles at Sierra... before having to answer Rayquaza's question.

Vyvyan: <Oh! Um... Before I was turned into... Well, your clone. A guy named Wolf gave us an Armband that turned us into a Pokemon.

Sierra turned into a Vulpix, I turned into a Torkoal for some reason... Again, this was before the polymorph.>

Charon's Hideout

Fool notices Tagg being attack by the Chill Rotom.

Fool: <!!!>

Fool fireas off a rather powerful Night Daze at the Rotom.
