ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

The legendary pauses, pondering the predicament of what to do with the new creation trio. Under normal circumstances, such Pokémon would not exist unless one of them had requested to Arceus that they be allowed to create a child for themselves, as Lugia and Ho-oh had done not long before them.

But for a legendary created by artificial means? That was another matter altogether.

Rayquaza — <This isn't a situation that has occurred many times before. But from what I understand, the standard procedure for when a legendary is cloned is to ask the clonee on what to do with their "offspring".>

Stratus — <...This has happened before?>

Rayquaza — <Surely you know of Mewtwo, no?>

Stratus — <Oh! So...it was up to Mew what happened to Mewtwo?>

Rayquaza — <Correct. Fortunately, Mew was perfectly happy with Mewtwo's existance and allowed him to live live on his terms.>

Stratus — <Right...so, what are you going to do about Vyvyan, then?>

Rayquaza — <...I'm...not entirely sure...>

Inside Charon's hideout

- Hears some sounds in the background -

... Let me guess. Some Rotom piloting giant mechas (or at least big enough to fit in here) are going to show up?

- Some Rotom piloting a few different robots show up -

... Of course.

Charon: The materials for these were pretty expensive. Sadly, one sometimes has to spend money in order to make money. (smirks) But, I'm certain that I'll more than make up for it when I start selling this weather.

Outside

Sierra: (sigh) It would've been nice if there was just some way to turn Vyvyan back into a human, but I guess that magical armband we were given is the closest thing he'll get...

Rayquaza snorts, crossing his arms.

Rayquaza — <Why would he want to be a human again? What can he do in mortal form that he couldn't as a Rayquaza.>

Stratus — <Well...I can think of one important thing.>

Rayquaza — Glances at Stratus. <And what is that?>

Stratus — <...Er...>

The Dragonite leans in close and whispers into Rayquaza's ear. Whatever it is he tells the legendary is enough for his face to go blank, slightly shocked.

Rayquaza — <...Well...he certainly couldn't do that, yes...>

Sierra: Well, he seems to have accepted his new form, but... I don't know. I guess part of me thinks he'd be happier if he could've stayed a human, but... that is not possible. (smiles) But, at least his Pokémon and I will be staying by his side regardless, so at least he'll still have the ones important to him. And he also has that armband, so it's not like he has to give up on his old life completely any time soon, even if he does have the duty of looking after Depthcharge and Buggle now.

Under Mt. Pyre

Umbra: Do you even realize what you're messing with, Charon?!

- He and his Pokemon get into a fighting stance. -

Nudi: -Looking at the Rotom- <Are they gonna, like, turn into some giant combining mecha or something?>

Tropius: -Smacks Nudi with one of his wings- <Don't give them any ideas.>

-The iPhokex starts playing this-

Stratus — <Oh, what are we going to do about those two?>

Rayquaza — <As I said before, it'll be up to Groudon and Kyogre to decide they're fate.>

The Legendary gazes off at the horizon, pondering something.

<I wonder if either of them are aware of them yet?>

Mossdeep City

-Mezzo has spent the day searching the town and asking random NPCs people if there have been any Hydreigon sightings-

Felis: <We could be doing something productive, you know.>

Shut up. We are doing something productive.

Sunny: <No one's seen anything, so either she's not here or she's being surprisingly non-violent...>

Sootopolis City

Shadow: <You ever get the feeling that we're missing something important?>

Leaflet: <You mean besides the sun?>

Deep under the earth

Groudon: -Has been spying on a lot of things using the Blue Orb he gave me (Yes, Groudon does more things than just gaming underground.)- <So there's another Groudon...and another Kyogre. Well you can't win them all I guess. And I'll teach them how to game since spending billions of years under here gets really boring.>

Umbra: Gilgamesh! Mata Nui! Block their attacks!

- The two Ground Types absorb the electricity harmlessly -

Now, Stone Edge!

- Mata Nui launches stones from the earth, while Gilgamesh does his "Red Wall" effect. -

-Gaia and Nudi do much the same on our end-

Gaia, use Earthquake! Nudi, Earth Power!

-Gaia causes a tremor, while Nudi causes golden energy to erupt from underneath a mecha-

Mecha: -Sends out boiling steam at everyone-

Inside Charon's hideout

- Tulip is using Quiver Dance to increase her speed, special attack and special defence -

Tulip: (twirling around) <You girls have me covered, yes?>

Mira: (using Detect and Wide Guard to protect from the attacks) <I have got my part under control.>

Marionette: (Shadow Claw'ing a few stray Rotom's that get too close)

Odette: (gracefully dodging attacks)

Velvet: (fires a few Shadow Balls at the mechas)

Artemis: (is helping Marionette)

-Is still heading towards the top-

Mossdeep City

Butterscotch: <That one girl with the hoodie liked to take things from your bag. Maybe she stole Charybdis?>

No, that wouldn't make any sense. She's not Team Plasma or something.

Maybe I should call her anyway, though.

-Mezzo gets out her Xtransceiver and dials Rex's number-

Ferry to ???

Zap and Rex were at the ship's buffet already making the chef's cry. When they say all-you-can-eat, they better mean it especially when a Wild Rex and Zap catch wind of it. Their table piled up with plates of food had reached such a height that they had to start piling them on the floor beside them.

In Rex's room Food had been delivered for the others. Jasmine lay under the Porthole and allowed the sun to kiss agianst her full grown flower. Mara lay curled in her shell while. Marryl was responsible until Zap came back so she had answered the door for room service. her ears perked up to the sound of ringing. The water pokemon turned her head and pushed the foodcart into the room, closing the door with her oil-filled tail.

The small pokemon pulled herself onto the bed and pawed around the pillow until she found Rex's Pokegear. She popped it opened and put it to her ear.

Marryl: (Hello?)

Vaitar and Aera had gone to the deck because they were far too big for below deck. The two rock pokemon sat staring at the wave, enjoying the trip. Vaitar had a smudge of suntan lotion wiped across his muzzle as he lay out with his sunglasses pulled down over his eyes. Aera flew around the ship, occasionally landing to take a rest.

Rotom Mechas:-Hit by the Stone Edges- Eeep! You'll pay for that!

- They summon a horde of other Rotom to distract the others while two of the mechas corner Gilgamesh and Xu. -

Rotom Mecha: Haha! We got you now!

Jadis + Abel: NO!

-Everyone starts erecting Protect barriers, but Tropius gets hit full on by the steam-

Tropius: -Gets burned- <Ack!>

Rotom Mecha: -Attempts to smash Tropius flat with an anvil-sized hammer- <Time for some mashed bananas!>

Steel: <Tropius!>

-Uses the Rock Polish he'd been buffing earlier to run over and grab the mecha before, with some effort, throwing it into the air-

<Xatu! Get me above that thing!>

Xatu: -Teleports Steel right above the mecha-

Steel: <Now take this!>

-Uses Heavy Slam to send it on a collision course with the floor-

Forecaster: -Floats over to Tropius- <Tropius! Are you alight?>

Tropius: -Gets up- <It'll take more than that to fell me.>

-Grunts in pain from the burn-

Hold up Tropius.

-Feeds him a Rawst Berry-

There you go.

Nudi: -Shoots a Rotom in the face with a Water Pulse- <Shame that Cobalt isn't here.>

Gaia: <I'm not sure if I'd want to be under Gravity thank you very much.>

Mossdeep City

Hi, Marryl. Is Rex around? Could you ask her to keep a look out for my Hydreigon?

The water pokemon rocked back and forth a bit as she listened to Mezzy.

Marryl: (Okay. Do you want to talk to Charybdis? She seems kinda sad.)

Marryl was Marryl, she was a strange little Azumaril. She shuffled off the bed, carefully holding the pokegear.

Mossdeep City

Sure, I'd like to— Wait, what?! She's with you?

Felis: <Dammit. Of all the people to have found her...>

Mt Pyre Peak

Vyvyan just watches the discussion between Rayquaza and Sierra.

Charon's Hideout

..HYDRO PUMP MICHELLE!

The Simipour fires a blast of high pressured water at the Mecha Rotom.

Fool: You'd think I would miss out on all the good stuff?

Stratus — <Hmm...I'm a bit worried about everyone else...perhaps we should go and help them?>

Rayquaza — Looks a bit awkward. <Well...I would, but...I'm a bit too large to actually fit inside the base.>

Stratus — Also looks awkward. <Yeah...I'd go in myself, but...I don't feel very confident without my team with me...>

Rayquaza — <Oh...those other trainers, though. Aren't they your friends?>

Stratus — <...Yeah...>

Rayquaza — <And do they not give you the confidence you need to fight?>

Stratus — <...Of course they do...>

Rayquaza — <Then...what's stopping you from helping?>

Stratus — <...> Shakes his head. <Nothing, that's what!>

The Dragonite hovers into the air.

Stratus — <I'll go and help! You wait out here for me, okay?>

Rayquaza — Nods. <Of course I will. Good luck, Stratus.>

The two Dragons exchange a smile, then Stratus flies through the melted doors of the base, heading for the Control Room.

Xu: Gilgamesh is the child of two of my dear friends... I can't let him perish!

Gilgamesh: Uncle Xu is so nice... I can't let these meanies hurt him!

Xu: If you think you can defeat us that easily... - Starts glowing-

Gilgamesh: You've got another thing coming! -Starts glowing-

Rotom Mecha 1: Oh Muk.

Rotom Mecha 2: This ain't good...

Marryl waddled over to Charybdis and held up the pokegear to her.

Marryl: (Chary, wake up, Mezzo is on the phone.)

She chirped out, bouncing a bit on her tip toes.

Rex and Zap made their way above deck to join Vaitar and Aera. The two rock pokemon watched as the electric mouse and their master sported bathing suits and a pair of innertubes. Rex did not take off her hoodie but put on proper swimming shorts.

"Ready?!" She called out as Zap, who sported a onesie, crouched. "Set!!.... oryyaaa!!" the pair canon balled into the pool. Vaitar and Aera held up scorecards. 10.0 and 9.5 respectively.
