-Makuhita tries striking Pleth with a fist-based shock wave-

Levi wiggles his right hand again.

Levi: I can't... really... recall. An accident, perhaps?

Santiago crosses his arms and gives off a slightly smug grin.

Santiago: I guess that leave me with being the least damaged of the bunch! Hah!

Santiago brings down his hand upon his left knee. After a hellish howl indicating incredible pain, he is on the floor - curled up and almost weeping. Levi dashes to his side almost immediately

Levi: (In a worried tone) Santiago!?

Vyvyan hurries over to the now curled Santiago and begins examining him.

Vyvyan: Arceus almighty, what on Earth happened here?

Most of the sounds emerging from Santiago's mouth are unintelligible.

-The Makuhita is unable to survive any further of Pleth's absorptions and faints, then is recalled by Brawly-

Brawly: "Alright, then..."

"Go, Meditite!"

-Brawly sends out a Meditite-

Brawly: "Fire Punch!"

-The Meditite's fist catches on fire, then it tries to strike at Pleth-

Crow: <Hey, Tagg. I tried your advice with Alpha, but... I ran into a bit of a problem.>

-he was about to talk to Cosette directly, but when Tagg asks him, he decides to hold off-

The Hyper Potion doesn't cure Sandy of all his pain, but it does relieve enough of it so he can reply coherently.

Santiago: I... put my hand down... on my left knee. Then the pain of a lifetime... *sniffle*

Vyvyan and Levi get Santiago up to a relaxed sitting position and take a good look at his left knee

Levi: Holy shit, your left kneecap is completely concave!

Vyvyan: I highly doubt an injury of this magnitude could be caused by you just slapping it. Seriously, it looks like someone smashed your knee with a sledgehammer.

Levi: (Shaking Santiago by the shoulders) How could you not notice this!? I knew there was something off about your left knee even in Groundon form!

Santiago: (Raising his voice in fustration) THE SAME WAY YOU COULDN'T EVEN NOTICE MISSING TWO OF YOUR FINGERS YA BIG WHALE!

Levi: (Gritting teeth) IS THIS A CHALLENGE-

Vyvyan: ENOUGH.

Levi and Sandy turn their attention towards Vyvyan, who is rubbing his forehead.

Vyvyan: Look. I think something else is at play here, since neither of you noticed these quite obvious injuries initially. But I guess that makes all of us faulty copies in one way or another.

Vyvyan helps Santiago up and allows the 6'4 male to lean on him for balance.

Vyvyan: Now let's get you to a hospital. I think you're going to need a brace for that knee.

Santiago: (Still hissing in pain) Thanks Vyv... I owe yah one.

Vyvyan glances over to Levi, who has his back turned and his arms folded.

Vyvyan: You coming along, Levi?

Levi: F-Fine! Someone has to look out for the crippled bastard anyway.

Vyvyan: Levi!

Levi: S-sorry.

The three start making their way out of the hotel. Vyvyan and Sandy in front, Levi huffing in the back.

<But in the middle, he got mad and suddenly tried to do a lot more damage to Jason's Gardevoir.>

Hmm...Draca was a little defiant back when she was a Bagon, but she managed to grow out of that by the Salamence stage. Any idea of what might've caused it?

<His guess is since he used Alpha mostly as an attack mon, that encouraged his violent nature and made him less likely to hold back or know what trained mons shouldn't do.>

<I don't think Titan's typical training regimen or the fact that poachers cut out his tongue helped much, though.>

No wonder I didn't find it before, no way would a 13 year old be getting in here without a guardian. The Outskirt Stand is a bit more...lenient.
