On the one hand, I'd like to welcome you to Hoenn. While we all have global beats, I imagine it feels like home to you in the same way I'll always have an affinity for Johto?

On the other, I want to confirm that your activities here won't result in too much upheaval for the common mons of this beautiful region. Last time we had a Groudon and Kyogre fight, it wasn't fun for anybody. The Zigzagoon of the land had to sweat out scorching heat, the Tentacool of the sea had to endure disruptions to the currents they rely on for feeding... and of course all that extreme weather did the Pidgey of the air no favors.

Oh, the disaster also clogged the telephone circuits, but they're all VOIP these days so that's kinda tangential.

Jessica peers down at Morgi, ever so briefly primping her hair a bit before easing her newly formed pony tail into her hat. She slips the hat on and adjusts it for comfort. "Felt like yer callin' was over 'n the next town?" she asked, debating the nature of Morgi's ostracization.

I dropped out of school to become a pokemon master, but then they pulled me right back in to get my doctorate!

Leng: "Don't you dare drag her into this. I will kill them."

-Leng walks off, vanishing into a shadow-

"You'll either kill them, and they'll stop being a problem, or you'll drag them to me, and then I win."

-The red light behind his mask constricts-

"I just need them to be removed. I almost have the powers of time and space within my grasp. But until they're gone I can't go forward. If I raise my fortress and they're still a factor... the whole equation falls apart..."

-Looks up- "Oh but there's more than one way to solve a problem... I'll make them join me... or tear them apart with their own goals. Fame and hatred... failure and regret... why use guns or Pokémon when human nature will tear them apart for me...?"

-He slowly laughs, the eerie sound sending the Shuppet and Duskull fleeing-

Santiago and Levi put a finger to their lip and ponder, while Vyvyan scratches his head.

Santiago: Well... All I remember wasn't of our own volition...

Levi: I can't recall all the much from before the experiment to be honest...

Santiago: In fact, I can't recall anything from before Vyv here woke me up.

The two sit down with their legs folded and think.

Levi: Ask Vyv his. His memory is more in tact than ours. Hmm...

Vyvyan coughs as he rubs his charred ear.

Vyvyan: Well... I was working for Magma, and I came across these two here. After a while of a few strange changes here and there I was abducted by a crazed Rayqauza cult and experimented there until the deification essentially completed. Though when in my normal form my right horn is smaller and darker than the left.

How the ear got scortched was a different story. I was positioned by an open pit of lava to my right one day and was getting unpleasantly stuffy in my uniform so I took down my hoodie for a moment.

Then I learnt the hard way why you should keep your hoodie on at all times.
