The letter reads:
You have probably not heard the fairy tale of Numidium, but you need to.
The legend dates back to some of the earliest stories of lore.
Numidium was supposed to be a giant so big his hand could knock the moon from the sky. I do not recall from the stories whether Numidium was supposed to be good or bad, but the legends used to scare me as a child.
The legends are, in fact, true. There was a Numidium, and, if situations continue, he will come again. The Totem is used to control Numidium. However, legend has it that great Numidium lost his Mantellan heart, whatever that is, in the final battle with one of the dragon's servants. Until his heart is found, the Totem is useless.

It's the crack of dawn, and Lake, Luke, and Stratus, are obviously fast asleep.
As such, they don't notice the form of a large beast - the very embodiment of the North Wind itself - quietly approaching. Gazing down at the three Pokémon, it moves towards Lake, then nudges him gently awake.
Lake: <Zzz...Uh? Huh?>
Opening his eyes slowly, the Feraligatr squints as his eyes adjust to the morning sun...only to find himself face-to-face with a legendary Pokémon, much to his shock. As he gapes silently in surprise, the beast turns and pads several feet away slowly, before stopping to turn it's head back, gazing at him expectantly.
Suicune: <Come. Lady Nix is waiting.>
And just like that, the legendary Pokémon sprints away in the direction of the Tin Tower, a cool breeze wafting through Lake's surroundings as it departs, leaving the Feraligatr to gape in astonishment at what had just happened.
Lake: <...That was some wake-up call.>

Diane jolts awake in a cold sweat. After taking a few breaths, she looks around, and notices Lake is already up.
Diane: <Oh... good morning, Lake... You're up early.>

Lake is snapped out of his daze by Diane speaking to him, to which he turns to look at.
Lake: <Hey, Diane. There's kinda' a good reason for that. You know, Suicune, right?>
As he waits for her response, he proceeds to nudge Stratus and Luke awake gently.
Stratus: <Zzz...Huh? Ooh, What's for breakfast?>
Luke: <Zzz...Uh? Is it morning already?>

-In front of us is a building that appears to have been the remnants of a church, its god unfortunately lost to the mists of time. Some ghost Pokémon give us dirty looks, but otherwise don't appear interested in attacking-

Luke: <Suicune? Gosh. If I was any other Pokémon, I'd think you were crazy, but knowing us...>
Stratus: <Which was did it go?>
Lake points to the Tin Tower in the distance.
Lake: <The Tin Tower. It specifically said that Nix wanted to see us. So I guess we've got a royal appointment.>
