OLD MAN: I'm not technically human. I'm the patron deity of Pokemon trainers. I stopped in this universe to pick up some coffee beans. I can conjure my own, but I find it satisfying, brewing coffee yourself.

Nonag: Um...Okay, sir. We'll keep looking.

Minax's Castle

-Gamer and company stumble into a large room, filled with goodies like T Ms and a Mobile Scarf

-Not listening to Kratos, Infernape steps into the room. Instantly, a dozen or so Pokemon drop from the ceiling, a la Cipher Peons.

Oh, Crap!! It's a Monster House!

-Right away, the mob of enemy Pokemon attacks. Typhoon jumps in front of everymon else, using Protect to...well...protect them. After this, everymon begins the counterattack.

~No. Eskay, stop that. YOU have done plenty for me. These couple of months have been more than enough happiness for me. If I get another month with you, I'll cherish it more than anything. If I get another lifetime with you, I'll know that I don't deserve you, and I will do everything I can for you, because I know you could do so much better than me, but I sure as hell could never meet anyone as good as you. If you die, I wouldn't be happy again. That would just be more suffering for me. So, as a revised promise, I want you to promise me, that if something happens and you take a hit for me, that you'll let me die in your arms. It's the only way both of us can die truly happy.~

<Ammy: "... Are you sure you're talking about the same Umbra here? I mean... The Umbra I know's nice... He always like getting to know new people... And always likes listening to others' ideas... Even if he seems a little weird sometimes...">

-An elderly Gallade walks into the cafe and sits down at one of the tables. He is clearly the source of the old man old book-ish scent that Nonag smelled earlier.

-The Gallade takes the ring off his finger, and hands it over to Emma-
