Lake: <Huh, that's clever. Very clever!>
The Feraligatr takes the berries, nods a thanks to the Houndoom, then eats them, restoring any HP he may have lost and healing the slight burns he sustained.
<I've gotta' remember to watch out for that technique whenever I fight a fire-type Pokémon from now on. That's a nasty way to catch me out.>
PEFE - Break Room
A horrified Stratus stares at the random Larvitar, who had just finished off the last of the Gelato. His Gelato.
Stratus: <You...YOU! HOW COULD YOU?!>
The Dragon snarls, his claws erupting in green flames as he readies a Dragon Claw attack.
<I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS!!!>
Meanwhile, in a Swamp near Azelea Town...
A very, very large female Feraligatr is basking peacefully on a rock in the sun, enjoying the warm weather. Nearby, however, three more Feraligatr approach, although somewhat cautiously.
Swamp the Shiny Feraligatr♂: <I still say y'all should wait until mom get's up. Ya' know she doesn't like being disturbed when she's sleepin'.>
Lagoon the Feraligatr♂: <Yeah, remember that one time that Ariados woke her up early one morning? That was so not cool.>
The larger of the three Feraligatr sighs.
River the Feraligatr♀: <This is just silly, guys. Mom would never try to eat us, despite her rabid blood-lust.>
Lagoon: <Yeah? Well she didn't try and eat you when you were just a hatchling, sis. Unlike me.>
River: <And she's said a million times already that it was an accident!>
Lagoon sighs, crossing his arms.
Lagoon: <If you had seen the hungrily look in her eyes, you would have thought differently.>
River: <Okay, I'll go and talk to her, you guys bring it in when I give you the signal, okay?>
Swamp: <I hear ya'.>
Lagoon: <Got it, sis.>
Swamp and Lagoon hide out of sight as the female Feraligatr steps somewhat cautiously towards her dozing mother. Even though she knew that he had nothing to fear from her, she still couldn't help but be slightly skittish.
She stops a few feet away from her, then slowly reaches out and nudges the dozing Feraligatr gently with her hand as Swamp and Lagoon peak their heads out to watch.
Swamp: <Jeez, I can't watch!>
Lagoon: <Yeah, it would be total bummer if sis loses an arm.>
Getting no reaction from the Feraligatr, River nudges her gently again. This time, her eyes shoot open, giving River a start.
River: <WAH!>
The Feraligatr jumps back in shock, dropping to all fours instinctively. Her mother, however, simply yawns loudly as she sits up.
Deluge the Feraligatr♀: <River? What's wrong?>
Seeing that Deluge was more groggy than hungry, River relaxes, returning to her bipedal stance.
River: <Nothing! Nothings wrong, it's just...>
Deluge tilts her head curiously as she stands up.
Deluge: <Yes?>
River: <Well, apparently the humans like have this holiday called Mother's Day today to celebrate...well, moms. So, since you're our mom, and that there isn't anything to say that Pokémon can't celebrate human holidays, we'd thought we'd do something nice for you, so...
She turns to Swamp and Lagoon's hiding place.
<Bring it in, guys.>
A few seconds later, the two male Feraligatr emerge, carrying what appears to be Stantler. Judging by it's size, it appeared to have been the Stag of it's herd. But not any more. The bite marks on it's neck indidcated that the Pokémon had been killed by having it's neck snapped.
At the sight of the large Stantler, Deluge can't help but stare, her jaws a-gape.
Deluge: <WHOA! He's a beauty!>
Swamp, Lagoon and River can't help but grin as the two male Feraligatr throw the dead Stantler down in front of her mother.
Lagoon: <We totally knew you would like it, Mom.>
Swamp: <We spent all mornin' huntin' for him.>
River: <It wasn't easy luring him away from his herd, but we managed in the end. We know how you love to tear the flesh apart, so we killed him as cleanly as possible.>
Deluge can't help but grin widely.
Deluge: <Well, I would have preferred him alive. I just love ending my prey's life with one hard snap, but this is just as good!>
She then spreads her arms and warps the three Feraligatr in a hug.
<Thank you so much, kids.>
Lagoon: <No problem, Mom!>
Swamp: <T'was the least we could do.>
River: <It was no trouble at all, really! Now go on, eat him before he starts attracting flies.>
Deluge nods, letting go of her kids and staring hungrily at the Stantler. Before she can savagely rip it apart though, she glances back at the three.
Deluge: <You know...I don't think I could possibly eat all of him on my own. Would you three like to share?>
The three Feraligatr exchange glances, then give Deludge a grin.
Swamp: <Well, if ya' offerin'...>
River: <Sure, why not?>
Lagoon: <Dibs on the flank!>
The four Feraligatr then proceed to savagely tear the Stantler up, which is an image best left to the imagination.

I see. Well, being a researcher isn't exactly fun and games, frolicking in the wilderness filled with Pokemon that'll kill you dead in no time.

-Kirk is getting close and closer to the energy source.
Kirk: I can feel it getting stronger...We must be close to it-OOF!
-Kirk trips on an old tape recorder. It is all but broken, looking like it barely works. Once Kirk gets back up, Nonag grabs it.
Nonag: -Is looking at it.- Hang on a sec.
-Nonag used Recycle!
-With this, the tape recorder is restored to working order. However, when Nonag tried to play it, she finds that it's at the end of the tape. Sighing, she sets it to rewind and puts it in her bag.
Nonag: It's a long tape. It will take a LONG time to go back to the start.
Geist: Oooh, maybe it's one of those logs from the Hu-Mons!
Nonag: Possibly. It was old: it could be from the War period. We'll know for sure when it gets back to the start.
-With this, the group continues following Kirk to the artifact.
Sky Peak
-Gamer and his Pokemon have started climbing the mountain. Nothing interesting has happened yet.

The Dragonite takes flight after the Larvitar, charging up a sphere of emerald energy as flies, before launching it at Igneous.

Gorga: I can't belive we spent the past week or so collecting garbage!

Spinda: Um... Sure. Oh Arceus is that an eyeball?
-She mixes the stuff together, producing a sludge-grey smoothie-

Igneous barely dodges the Dragon Pulse. He doesn't bother retaliating, though, because that might be the end of him. He runs out the breakroom door.

Stratus: <Grr...>
Stratus flies out of the door, but suddenly breaks in mid-air to avoid slamming into the corridor wall.
<Eep! Not much room to fly in here!>
Carefully, he turns around and soars down the corridor after Igneous, charging up and firing another Dragon Pulse at the fleeing Pokémon.
PEFE HQ
Igneous barely has enough time to close an elevator door and go to the third floor before Stratus unleashes the next Dragon Pulse. Unfortunately, it's one of those elevators with a light displaying the elevator's current location outside each door.

Stratus: <EEP!>
Stratus screeches to a halt just outside the elevator door. For a moment, it seemed as if the Larvitar had gotten away, before the Dragonite noticed the elevator panel stating that he was on the third floor.
<This isn't over yet!>
The Dragonite heads off to the nearest stairway, then flies up towards the third floor.

Magikarp: Hey, maybe it has a Prism Scale! What do you think Wynaut?
Wynaut: Why not?
Magikarp: MR. ARON! PLEASE WAIT!

Igneous pushes a few random buttons on the elevator just before running out, in an attempt to fool the Dragonite. He then goes into a room just to the right of the elevator and hides.

Noticing a Magikarp and a Wynaut calling after him, the Aron pauses, tilting it's head curiously at them.

Lake is suddenly poked by an arm-blade, turning to see Crochet standing there.
