"We're going to meet a friend of ours... She's training with some Nidos in a colony a bit off the route."

Marvin glances over at Hunter. <Well, he almost died a little while ago while we were on vacation, and then there were... some problems at home.>

Hunter crosses his arms. "Go ahead."

Find it? Oh boy...

Route 226-ish

-And Hunter is exposed to an view of the surrounding world similar to the one that was shown to those that were stalking the Lairon yesterday-

<☽♇: "Uh... This is kinda how most of us see the world around us at times... So... Yeah."

-The world around is for the most part black, the humans and their effects and mons have reddish glows attached to them, albeit fainter than the others would have seen yesterday, the Lucario and Riolu of the pack have a blue glow attached to them... With one exception-

-Having a faint reddish glow attached-

<☽♇: "... What do you see?">

-To Tagg-

<Gene: "... Well that's great, where do we start?">

<❣❄❣: "From here.">

-And receive a redux of yesterday's Aura vision-

Hunter looks around slowly, a little disoriented.

"Um... a lot of black, but we're—Marvin and I, and the other people—are red. Your pack is blue. According to comic books, that makes us bad and you the good guys."

He tilts his head at half moon and frowns.

"So then why are you a bad guy?"

Alright then, follow the golden trail.

-Starts walking-

-Flinching a little at Hunter's statement-

<☽♇: "... It's a long story... What happens when you pay attention to the red things you see for a while?">

-Were one to stare at one of the more vivid red glows for a while, one would start to feel a rather oppressing aura... Of loneliness... Paranoia... Worry of the unknown and of separation from everything one knows... The sorts of fears that would plague a person were he or she to live under the constant fear of being snatched off the street at random...

... And, being someone else's perspective, these feelings are mixed with a sharp sense of loss... Of bewilderment... The sorts of feelings one would have losing a loved one who is deeply loved and cherished... For reasons that one doesn't really understand, that seem alien-

Hunter examines the auras for as long as he can, before finally flinching away, curling in on himself and shutting his eyes. After a few long moments, he slowly opens them and looks first at half moon, then down at the Riolu.

"I... think so. I... It won't mean anything from me, I guess, but I'm sorry anyway."

Marvin nudges "Symbols".

<What's going on with Hunter? Should I be intervening?>

-Still walking-

I guess we could check out Stark Mountain and Route 227 once we're done here.

Route 226-ish - With Hunter

<"Symbols": "Uh... I'm not sure...">

-Removing the vision from Hunter's eyes-

<☽♇: "... Are you okay?">

<❧: "... It wasn't your fault... And I guess I was rather horrible about it yesterday">

-Noticing that the others have gone off-

<"Symbols": "Er... Did you need us to take you to the others? I think they're looking for that orb that I found...">

Route 226-ish - With Tagg

<Gene: "Do you see an end to that path?">

-Looks ahead-

Yeah, it's right there.

-Starts walking towards the Tear-

I bet there'll be some sort of ambush.

Hunter rubs his eyes and shakes his head.

"Yeah... I'm fine."

He turns to the Riolu, and gives him a half smile.

"No worries. Like I said, the better we get on, the less suckish this is for everyone."

Marvin startles, looking around and also noticing everyone is gone.

<Yeah, that would be helpful.>

He lumbers over to Hunter and grabs his shoulder.

<C'mon, we gotta go find everyone else.>

The Trainer looks up at him and rubs his eyes.

"Huh? Something wrong, Marvin?"

With Hunter

<☽♇: "Come on, I'll lead you to them, they're up-">

-And abruptly freezes-

<☽♇: "!!!">

<"Symbols": "What's wrong?">

<☽♇: "... They feel like they're in trouble... Or they're about to be in trouble...">

With Tagg

<Gene: "... So who's getting that?">

I guess I will.

-Grabs the Tear and absorbs it-

"What? What's going on?" Hunter demands, jumping to his feet.

<Oh Arceus Maybe we shouldn't go then,> he says nervously. <I mean, I'm supposed to be protecting Hunter, and I don't think Cesar would appreciate me leading him into danger...>

Route 226-ish - With Tagg

-The moment the tear is absorbed, around 20 ranged attacks, consisting of a mix of Dark Pulses and Shadow Balls fill the clearing-

<Gene: "AAAGH!">

-And strike different group members present-

-Manages to Detect out of the way-

Shit, I knew there'd be another ambush. Run!

-Does exactly that-

Infiltratomb: <After them!>

Lady at counter: (sighs) I hope things will return to normal soon so we can get more people with a lot of ribbons to come buy these overprized ribbons.

Skitty belonging to one of the members of the society: <Forget about fancy ribbons, and pet me, nya!>

Goggles: (sliding over on his belly, his entire body covered in massage oil rendering him slippery) <At least I got that Tear, though!>

Did you have to tear down the whole shelf just to get it?

Goggles: <I couldn't reach it...>

You should've let me or Wolf grab it!

Goggles: <Oh... That would've been a good idea.>

- Recalls Goggles and sends out Sparq so he can help power the elevator again -

<Irina: "'Fives'.">

<Rising Star: "... How am I supposed to tell? I can't read these!">

-A Lucario hastily bursts out of the bushes-

Hunter nods and pulls out his Pokeball belt, as well as the other Pokeballs.

"Where are they?" he demands, buckling the belt back around his waist.

Infiltratomb: <Got you now Soul!>

-Fires a Dark Pulse right in front of me, causing me to trip and fall in the dirt-

Mummytomb: -Bringing his sword down- <I've got this on-Gets tripped by one of Artemia's Grass Knots-

Artemia: <Ugh, how uncivilized.>

Muddy: <WHAT? I'LL TURN THEIR KEYSTONES INTO PAPERWEIGHTS!!!>

Sentinel: -Picks Nudi up and flies ahead-

He quickly recalls Marvin and sends out Cesar.

<What's going on?! Prison break?!> the Staraptor asks, stumbling a little as Hunter clambers on.

"Let's go, Cesar! That way!" Hunter gestures in the same direction Straw did and Cesar leaps into the air.

-Hex senses that there are still mons in Tagg's bag that haven't been released and goes back to release them-

Hex:<Almost forgot about you guys.> -releases the rest of Tagg's mons-
