<Francis: "Because someone needs to keep you out of trouble.">

-Teala attempts to lunge forward to dodge the Poison Sting-

<Teala: "Nguh?">

-But is hit by a couple errant ones and poisoned-

-Starting to panic a bit-

<Teala: "Urk... Can't keep this up... Why does this always have to happen to me?">

-And attempts Earthquake-

Observing - Training Ground

-To the Human!Latios-

"Yeah... She's mine... I wonder how much longer this is going to all last though... Getting ganged up on doesn't really keep you on the battlefield for that long..."

<Shaun: "Ooh... Looks like you're going to need to break out the Antidote for this one, Tracer...">

Human!Latios: It's not fair, bro. I have half a mind to Dra- er, have Saber here Outrage those Nidos to even the odds.

Saber: That's probably not a good idea... Inka would rip my spine out.

-After a SLOW trudge through the mud, I arrive in Pastoria, and collapse on the ground-

Aurora:<Wow, was it really that tough of a walk?>

Some of the kits start running around, then some of them hide behind Francis.

"<Wheeeee~>"

Pierce -follows them around: <Come on, be orderly! Like me, I've always been a good Eevee :3>

A group of three kits start poking at Zoltan's feet so that another group of kits can catch the tail.

Suddenly, a female voice is heard and a Nidorina peeks out from behind the bushes.

????: <I see the school is giving you troubles...> — looks around — <Where is Iggy?>

Training Ground

The ground shakes because of the Earthquake. All of them being weak to Ground moves, the Nidorinos are all fazed and fall to the ground, the three already fallen ones taking quite a hit.

Maekrite however takes the time to leap on his instructor to avoid the blunt of the attack.

Instructor: <...Ugh... no please don't move too mu-ugh...> — passes out.

Maekrite pokes him with his horn to check that he is still OK, then turns to Teala. <You OK?> he asks, concerned.

One of the observing Nidorinos turns to Shaun. "<Yeah, we'd welcome an Antidote. Pierce has more or less finished our ready supply of Pechas for training...>" — shrugs.

The other Nidorino notices the battle is over, makes a gesture to Iggy and Shaun.

Hmm...splitting up might work. It's a pretty good idea, Daisy.

Going out for a while. Bye!

Training Ground

-Clutching her abdomen weakly-

<Teala: "Urgh...">

"Are you alright there?"

<Teala: "Tr-Tracer? You're-">

"Back, I know... Let's get you taken care of first...">

-And hastily applies an Antidote while fishing out some tweezers to remove the Nido barbs lodged in her hide-

-To Maekrite-

"If you or if any of your friends need something to pick you up a bit, you're free to take it from my bag."

-To the motioning Nido-

<Iggy: "Something up?">

<Shaun: "Yeah, what's going on?">

With Pierce

-Zoltan gets poked on hit feet by the barbs-

<Zoltan: "Ow!">

-And a Nido kit latches onto his tail-

<Zoltan: "Hey! Alright... But can you hold on?">

-And flies up off of the ground-

-To the Nidorina which she does not recognize-

<Francis: "He's off at some training ground, why?">

With Zoltan

The Nidoran kit latches to Zoltan's tail for dear life as he looks to the ground "far" down. Of course, her curiosity gets the better of her. "<Wheeeee, I'm flying~!>" she yells.

The Nidorina walks in and starts helping round some kits.

Inka: <My name is Inka. I've known Iggy for some time and got the news that he was visiting with his Trainer...> — frowns at the kits as she collects them — <I guess meeting him will take me a little longer...>

Training Ground

The Nidorino invites Iggy and Shaun to follow him. "<I was inviting you to more comfortable grounds,>" he explains as he points to some bushes and trees from which Maekrite is collecting herbs and berries.

Hamada: <Thanks, Tracer. I'll fetch some potions from your bag if you don't mind...>

Instructor -walks up to Teala, still dizzy: <That was fu-ugh...> — walks up to behind a rock.

Pastoria, near the tents

-Pianis notices Straw collapse nearby-

Pianis: Hey, you okay over there?

Straw? Is that you?

Pianis: You know this guy?

Yeah, he's part of our group.

-I look up and see Pianis-

Yeah...I'm fine. I'm just tired.

Aurora:<He had to walk through the marshland. He got stuck like every other step.>

Zero:<It was kind of funny, and yet annoying too.>

Training Ground

<Iggy: "Ah... I see...">

<Shaun: "Ooh... I think I'll take one of those...">

-And begins to nom on an herb-

-In the background-

<Teala: "OW!">

"Sorry! Sorry! I'll be more careful with these barbs! How do they get so deep in anyways?"

<Iggy: "... How's Teala been doing here anyways?">

Ashley and Hunter look down at Straw, confused.

"Oh hey. A stranger," Hunter mutters.

"Or not. What a coincidence, huh?"

Hamada produces some potions and distributes them among the group. Then he walks up to Tracer and Teala.

Hamada: <There there, you are doing pretty good.>

Nidorino Guide -to Iggy: <She's been doing better than the last times with the stealth. She can crush rocks easily and tanks most of what we can toss at her, except Ice.>

Suddenly a certain Nidorina rushes in.

Inka: <Iggy?> — sits and looks carefully, then circles around to face Iggy — <That old dent can only be Iggy's. How have you been?>

Maekrite -to Tracer: <Sorry about the poison stings.> — scratches his own ears — <Nice to see you here by the way, Tracer...>

Suddenly Maekrite notices something and looks up. Then she shies a bit.

Maekrite: <...What is mom doing here?> — remembers the Gold Conference — <Oh hraka please don't let her tell kithood stories...>

Training Ground

<Iggy: "Inka? It's been quite a while, hasn't it... Has Maekrite been visiting you often since he came back? Does it remind you at all of how he was like when he was young? Does he still attack shoes by any chance?">

-While tending to Teala-

"Nice to meet you too, Maekrite? Have you been feeling at home?"

<Teala: "Wait, Maekrite? Er... Are you okay? You suddenly looked nervous...">

Pianis: There's snow around, so be careful where you step.

Icicle: <It's the work of Team Glacier!>

Sunny: <How'd you manage to do this, dad?>

Shadow: <We had help.> -points at Pianis' team-

Yukikaze: <Looks nice, doesn't it?>

"Hey!" Hunter says, looking offended.

Ignoring him, Ashley addresses Straw. "I'm Ashley, and he's Hunter. Who are you?"

Cole descends from a tree and peers at Straw warily. The rest of Ashley's team also gathers around.

<I don't trust him,> Cole says shortly.

<You don't trust anyone,> Six replies, crossing his blades.

<Well, I don't trust him extra!>

<Dude, you say that every time we meet someone,> James snorts.

<Not true!> the Pidgeot protests, glaring at him.

<Actually, James is right. You say pretty much those exact same two sentences whenever a stranger shows up,> Ion points out, raising a hand.

Cole "hmphs" and turns away from them. He moves closer to Ashley and glares over her shoulder at Straw.

Straw. Nice meeting you.

-I turn toward Hunter-

I met you in the Orange Islands I think.

Talon:You can trust Straw! He's a pretty cool guy.

Oh, that's Talon. And yes, he can speak English. Don't ask. He somehow learned it.
